Now the thread title might by confusing. However, I am simply saying that people like Naruto/Hashirama have been more real than the so called "realists" like Danzo/Madara who are bigger idealists.
See people seem to think, Naruto and Hashirama just day dream about peace, without looking at the reality and acknowledging what is happening in the world. However, that is highly incorrect.
Hashirama: Perfectly acknowledged that the peace he attained would only last a short time, and war would start again. However, even with that due to the foundation of the leaf villages and the gokage meeting in the future shinobi would eventually come together, that was his dream. Did he live in it? no... the man had already seen death of kids and etc. Not killing Madara before Konoha was founded = brilliant move. He also acknowledged that only way humanity can ever come close to peace is..... through understanding.
Naruto: Some people have this idiotic misunderstanding about where he stands. The guy has been hated on, called a monster while not knowing.. Suffered since a little kid.. to come out and say, hes just a guy who only dreams is quite BS. He acknowledged Nagato's pain and suffering, he acknowledged what the system had done to Nagato... him not killing Nagato wasn't an idealistic move.. but a realistic move. Nagato would've been imprisoned. Naruto acknowledged Sasuke's pain and what hes been through. He acknowledges the fact Sasuke can't truly be blamed for everything. He acknowledges that understanding is the only thing that can lead to "peace" and a peaceful world.
Now lets look at the reality of things, even in our world. (this is what i see in our world)
What leads to peaceful times? people understanding and getting along with each other and co-exist
What leads to shitty times with war and etc (not counting natural disasters or epidemics) ? Hunger for power, wanting to do everything yourself, considering yourself above others.
Danzo : trying to become a hokage, while being a hypocrite and working with enemies of the leaf, and taking out people like Yahiko who were trying to stop war.. all in order to magically protect the village.. because that will lead to peace and protection of the leaf. Yet in reality, killing and experimenting on people and doing other dirty crap doesn't lead to peace.. just leads to corruption.
Madara: Moons eye plan, as if putting people in dreams is peace in reality.. Stay dreaming. And of course killing people for fun sure does help support "the winners and losers crap".
Realism: : the quality of a person who understands what is real and possible in a particular situation and is able to deal with problems in an effective and practical way
Idealism : : the attitude of a person who believes that it is possible to live according to very high standards of behavior and honesty
PS: all of them have qualities of both, but Hashirama/Naruto seem to be the more realistic ones.
