Taijutsu. Who is better? Naruto or Sasuke?

Why do Sasuke fans love to live in the past? They fought in hand to hand at VoTE with no type of enhancement, and they equaled each other. You are going to have to accept that fact. What Sasuke did in Part 1 is completely irrelevant.

Back in Part 1 Sasuke was stronger than Naruto, but in Part 2, Sasuke needs the power of the 9 Bijuu to fight against a full power Naruto. The past is the past. This is the present.

I am not saying that Sasuke is stronger than Naruto at all.

They are equal by the end of the manga.

I was just addressing the topic of this thread, that Sasuke is more skilled in Taijutsu, and provided evidence.

flashier doesn't equal better. Sasuke has the flashiest tai in the show but it's nowhere near the best.

It's strength and stamina vs skill and agility.

Thank you, Based God! I think this is one of the main reason Sasuke was considered the better taijutsu user, when they both clerly have the same exact stats in base.

If we were talking about Sasuke's growth alone, then yes. But we are comparing him to Naruto, who has also grown since Part 2, so no, it makes absolutely no sense to look at their Part 1 feats. That's like saying Player X gets shitstomped by Player Y in a fight because that's what happened 10 years ago, even though both Players fought again recently, and tied. Doesn't make sense.

Never understood that either. Now there are a bunch of excuses being resorted after what happened this fight. Rasengan looks dull as ****, yet it still gets shit done even without an element compared to Chidori.

I can't wait to see Uryuu with his "A" designation. I also am interested in Jugram's "B", which is most likely "The Balance." I hope the Elite Guards don't get screwed over like the other Sternritters.

Sasuke fans think that someone who uses partially real life martial arts is the better martial artist and Naruto fans think that someone who uses invisible punches and whatever is the better one. There was no wank actually, there was posting of feats which showed Sasuke is more skilled than Naruto, and you don't like that.

I say Sasuke is more skilled based on what we have seen from him, you are right, part 2 Sasuke is better than the earlier versions of him, but that doesn't mean we need to negate all feats both characters showed before their final fight, that's selective reading.

The final fight was not heavily reliant on Taijutsu, they started off with Ninjutsu then resorted to Taijutsu only when they ran out of chakra and were exhausted. There was no skill in that final brawl, they were both too tired to dodge anything, they were just throwing punches and kicks and most of them landed.

I stand by my claim, in terms of Taijutsu technique and skill, Sasuke is better.
