Apparently Rasengan = Chidori.

Naruto could have easily taken a moment to enlarged his normal sized rasengan into a Big Ball Rasengan and taken the victory.

Logically, Big Ball Rasegan > Chidori

The shock wave of his chidori shattered the pillars and ground (might wanna rethink that TSB vs Chidori shock wave I was talking about ... uk who I'm talking to)

But it didn't go as deep (no homo) because its lightning vs lightning, raikage body itself is strong, sasuke wasn't at his best, and this is also were sasuke chidori has gotten to kakashi's lightning blade level (S rank, he cut through lightning).

But yeah like I said this is pre MS, not full powered sauce.

The pillars were damaged from juugo's attack and the ground was damaged when raikage smashed the upper floor and came down smh.

Naruto's Rasengan is like a little bomb. If the bomb grows in size, its explosion power will grow as well. But one point you're missing is he and Sasuke are both right next to that bomb, he'll take the impact just as much as Sasuke. Thats why when Sasuke used Amaterasu on the Chidori they lost their arms.
