so , we all want to know what's hidden in zoro's eye , and i think that i figured out the answer for that question by watching this video ->

and so i was able to figure out as to what zoro's eye is hiding.

or is the shinigami form , or is that + an higher form of a shinigami , in other words is a power-up of his ashura mode.

which i think is the latest.

Long Ago pirates in real life wear an eyepatch on one of their eyes ( commonly the captain). They do this to make their other eye accustomed to darkness, so when a battle starts and they go out from their room (which is bright) and go to the deck at night they would open their patched eye and fight instantly without having to wait for their eye to adjust to the dim place. I think this is what zoro is doing so when blackbeard opens up his shadow fruit and make the whole place dark zoro would still see through it cuz his eyes are already accustomed to darkness giving him faster reaction time when at night. Also if you think about where zoro trained (mihawks place) it was a dark place.

People have been speculating for years what might or might not be the case with Zoro's eye and the oldest among them is that it gives him a power-up, which is pretty much what you are going for again. That Zoro's Ashura would have gotten an upgrade is pretty much a given considering the fact that all this attacks have become stronger. This must be like the third thread or so in the timespan of a few chapters in regards to his eye. I had a few weeks ago myself a heated argument with someone who was nearly certain that his eye was a symbolic visual representation of Zoro's relationship with Sanji as Sanji has his right eye covered with his hair, while at the same time he considered the theory of him getting a power-up from opening the eye far-fetched.

Meh, I still like the idea that he cut his eye himself because of his extreme nature and misunderstanding what Mihawk was saying about Observation Haki at some point. It has already been shown that Mihawk spoke in riddles that Zoro didn't initially understand while they were training, this could just be one such time gone bad.

He has Sharingan also when he opens the opponent gets caught in Zoro's version of amaterasu. I know too hot to consider... xD

The fact Oda is starting to insert little fbs of Zoro's training without having explained the reason behind his closed eye something like 200chapters after the timeskip, makes me think he is reserving the explanation for something important(maybe in Wano?) and if it's really the case, then at this point i doubt it's a simple thing as a lost eye, otherwise he'd not have reserved it for so long. Maybe it does give him a certain power-up, maybe Mihawk asked him to restrict himself for a certain reason(just like he forbid him alcohol until he mastered armament), maybe another reason. Either way i guess time will tell

I have a feeling he hasn't mastered Observation very well since he couldn't find Pica in the Golem. Maybe Mihawk told him to keep one eye closed until he mastered Observation to a certain level.

If you referred to me it was just a joke. A joke as in that people believe that his eye has some hidden power or something.

I just made a joke of it and so far I think it's just a scar he got unless Oda states otherwise and there'll be an obvious flashback to it sometime soon.
