Hell, Yamcha stomps original Superman. ****ing Yamcha. That just shows you how weak he was before a cornucopia of authors gave him so many free power ups he that he made Sasuke and Naruto look like hard workers and to balance this they made him weak to a green rock.

Dude. In order for Superman to beat Goku, he would have to sit on the sun to gather the strength to attack super saiyan 4 Goku head on, which will cause the planet to go bye bye. I won't even bring super saiyan God mode into this.

Bottom line unless Superman decide to kill and destroy the earth in process of having a chance to beat Goku, he a dead man!

That's a rather nonsensical argument. What's ¨fair¨ is what the discussion maker sets as the standard. We talking each in their strongest canon incarnations? Is non-canon included? Any limits? All of that is fair game and is up to the thread maker.

Goku can simply teleport him away from the sun, superman would be weaken.

It's too late for that.. The author of this thread is waiting for people to bring things up to dismiss them so that he can have the upper hand. If it's a battle to the death I don't think either party would die without using their strongest trump card. Goku wins. GG.

The only superman that beats Goku is the one that can do whatever the writer needs him to do at any given time. The modern (current continuity) superman isn't written that way he has limits and the modern superman would have huge trouble beating Goku especially if he transforms to super saiyan or a more powerful form.

The modern superman can't even destroy a planet something Goku can do without breaking a sweat, I'm not sure if Goku could kill him without Kryptonite but he'd have no trouble knocking his ass out. Also there is there is one thing I know for sure the modern superman can't do shit to Goku in other words he ain't killing him nor is he gonna knock him out.
