Yeah, so he gets freed....
Apparently it's quite the painful process, and can take years. Much easier to stay in a Jinchuriki who will die soon anyways, and let you be free.

That makes no sense since the same thing would happen afterwards.
There's also nothing to suggest that it's a painful process nor how long it would take.
Then why didn't he let Naruto die instead of giving him chakra and weakening his seal?
Didn't mean that in a smartass way btw. I think I usually agree with your posts, just curious as to what exactly your theory is.
Kurama becomes freed if Naruto dies....
Kurama did not want to die, so either dying is very veru undesirable or bijuu reviving was only added in part two, there is no mention of it in part one.
Kurama's hatred for humans is made very clear both in part one and two so I dont see how anyone can come to a conclusion that he did it because he cared for Naruto.
He was going to squash naruto when he was a baby.
It was right after he was released from Obito's control. I'm pretty sure he was blinded by rage at that time.
Lol so what do you think Kurama was going to do once he was free? Prance around picking flowers for gyuki?
Exactly this, these faptards get dumber everyday LoLKey phrase in this is when Minato bit the dust, how can u even be a father while dead. This is like me saying Richard Nixon is a better president than Abraham Lincoln because he did more for the country recently.
Because the smartest thing to do is attack the people that sealed you right after you've been freed...
I'm pretty sure if he wasn't summoned in the middle of a battle that has already wiped out half the shinobi there, he would have retreated into solitude.
Wh-...I can't even...
I cba re reading everything, going to bed but I wasn't talking about the battle. We were talking about the ways Kurama could escape. If he could've let Naruto die and be free with no hassle why didn't he? Also you don't think he's evil?..
Well Ialready gave the two options. Either Kurama isn't a merciless soul who would kill an innocent child in order to free himself or it's just bad writing.
We obviously know Kurama isn't evil. He only became a threat because Madara took control of him and was sealed because of it. He was just angry that he was imprisoned; he was never "evil" in the first place, as in a malevolent entity that finds pleasure in suffering and destruction.
I can see where you're coming from and all except throughout the entire manga he gave off a malevolent, evil vibe and made no secret of his hatred for Naruto and humanity in general, as I think it was mentioned. You say he couldn't kill Naruto yet he constantly scared the shit out of him, threatened him and tempted him, Whenever he got the chance to weaken the seal a bit by loaning Naruto his chakra and getting him to give into his hatred. This could have been mere pity like you say but that doesn't make much sense, all things considered. Especially considering when Naruto went 8 tails vs Pain.
I respect your opinion and all but it makes more sense that Kurama didn't want to die due to previously provided reasons and that biding his time (16 years) was more convenient than whatever fate awaited him if he had chosen to die with Naruto.
