Kurama, a better father than Minato?

Did you watch/read any of Naruto at all before Naruto vs. Obito? ._.

Kurama is literally the embodiment of hatred and a complete @$$hol€, even to 8 tails. Before he got all co-operative anyway. Way to blatantly ignore all of his death threats though. Real parents give their children death threats <3

It's how you know they care :´)

Apparently it's quite the painful process, and can take years. Much easier to stay in a Jinchuriki who will die soon anyways, and let you be free.

That makes no sense since the same thing would happen afterwards.

There's also nothing to suggest that it's a painful process nor how long it would take.

Then why didn't he let Naruto die instead of giving him chakra and weakening his seal?

Didn't mean that in a smartass way btw. I think I usually agree with your posts, just curious as to what exactly your theory is.

Well I don't believe Kurama was ever "evil", just frustrated. I'm sure he understands it's not Naruto's fault for him being sealed and also knows that Naruto is innocent and a good person.

Other than that, bad writing would be the second option.

Kurama becomes freed if Naruto dies....

Kurama did not want to die, so either dying is very very undesirable or bijuu reviving was only added in part two, there is no mention of it in part one.

Kurama's hatred for humans is made very clear both in part one and two so I dont see how anyone can come to a conclusion that he did it because he cared for Naruto.

I never said he cared for him but I doubt Kurama finds pleasure in seeing an innocent child die. Hagoromo taught him to be kind and Naruto resembles Ashura, who was the reason why Hagoromo created the bijuu in the first place.

We first believed that Kurama attacked Konoha of his own volition but we soon found out that he was simply being controlled.

It was right after he was released from Obito's control. I'm pretty sure he was blinded by rage at that time.

Lol so what do you think Kurama was going to do once he was free? Prance around picking flowers for gyuki?

Minato sacrificed his life for his son. That can't be compared to Kurama.

Because the smartest thing to do is attack the people that sealed you right after you've been freed...

I'm pretty sure if he wasn't summoned in the middle of a battle that has already wiped out half the shinobi there, he would have retreated into solitude.

Key phrase in this is when Minato bit the dust, how can u even be a father while dead. This is like me saying Richard Nixon is a better president than Abraham Lincoln because he did more for the country recently.
Exactly this, these faptards get dumber everyday LoL

In other words, Kurama = Piccolo and Minato = Goku

To be honest, all Kurama did was just heal Naruto and he really just wanted to get out of the cage long ago... Naruto admitted himself that Iruka was the father figure btw. lol

You can't even what?

Are you telling me that you think that it's smart for Kurama to attack people who were powerful enough to seal him twice if he was freed? That would be dumb.

I cba re reading everything, going to bed but I wasn't talking about the battle. We were talking about the ways Kurama could escape. If he could've let Naruto die and be free with no hassle why didn't he? Also you don't think he's evil?..

Well I already gave the two reaons. Either Kurama isn't a merciless soul who would kill an innocent child in order to free himself or it's just bad writing.

We obviously know Kurama isn't evil. He only became a threat because Madara took control of him and was sealed because of it. He was just angry that he was imprisoned; he was never "evil" in the first place, as in a malevolent entity that finds pleasure in suffering and destruction.

I can see where you're coming from and all except throughout the entire manga he gave off a malevolent, evil vibe and made no secret of his hatred for Naruto and humanity in general, as I think it was mentioned. You say he couldn't kill Naruto yet he constantly scared the shit out of him, threatened him and tempted him, Whenever he got the chance to weaken the seal a bit by loaning Naruto his chakra and getting him to give into his hatred. This could have been mere pity like you say but that doesn't make much sense, all things considered. Especially considering when Naruto went 8 tails vs Pain.

I respect your opinion and all but it makes more sense that Kurama didn't want to die due to previously provided reasons and that biding his time (16 years) was more convenient than whatever fate awaited him if he had chosen to die with Naruto.

Well it was never expanded upon so we'll never know. Like I said, it was just poor writing to ignore such a big flaw.
