[Predictions] Naruto Manga 488 Discussion and 489 Predictions

It was a good chapter. Now that Sasuke has EMS i hope there is some kind of reasonable learning curve before he plans to strike back at Konoha. Madara needs to recruit a few more Akatsuki members if he wants to go to war with everyone.

Predictions
1)Theres going to be some kind of dispute for the title of Hokage. The elders never really cared for Tsunade and the Daimyo rolled over for Danzo (although Danzo could have used Shisui's mind trick on him as he decided kinda quickly as did Mifune at the Kage summit) so i imagine there will be some kind of vote. If thats the case i imagine Naruto as the villages current hero may actually get to weigh in on the decision.
2) Naruto's training, yes it would be nice if he could control the fox but Nature Energy is just as limitless as the kyuubi's chakra so further expansion on sage techniques would be better (also Naruto did vow to not rely on the Fox on multiple occasions.) Also in comparison to Sasuke's abilities if he could learn a variant of the 4ths Flying Thunder God technique it would help compete with Susanoo's as well as sasuke's speed. So to make it short a) he trains with Killerbee to learn how to control the Kyuubi (doubt it as Kisame will keep him busy) b) he uses kakashi and yamato/sage clones to assist with kyuubi style training
3) Were gonna see abit more of Kabuto and he is going to either tell/ or just blatantly give information that will get to Konoha (isnt Anko tracking him)
4) The Elders are going to take charge of Root in some way
5) The other nations are going to move into positions to formalize the alliance and they are going to encounter new Akatsuki members, in that Zetsu will finally get to fight someone
6) Madara will show off some new abilities (he can't be stupid enough to think he's got Sasuke on such a short leash)

That's just ridiculous and people defending Sasuke keeps on saying hatred is the source of power how can he have power when he should be outta chakra. He is not Naruto who has the Kyuubi's chakra besides his own.

lmfao I'll have to say you are so right. Am not a sasuke hater but his chakra lvls are just ridiculous. I can see how naruto can have so much chakra since the kyubi is just pure chakra so naruto can access this and regain chrakra at all times. Cuz if u notice when naruto doesn't use the foxes chakra he can use his techniques for a certain amount of time. Even when he is sage he has a limit to the times he can use his techs. For example, the fight with pei. Naruto was limited to a certain amount of rasenshurikens and he even said it. Buy yet sasuke can us sasunno as if it was a low rank tech.

So am just saying not a sasuke hater or nothing but come on be realistic for a minute. When the series started from episode 1 sasuke always was a genius and we all liked him for that but the minute he started being portrayed as a jinjurikii with all his hatred motivated chakra his character became a joke.

I'll have to agree to disagree.

1)obito did give kakashi dhe sharigan and kakashi did copy many jutsus 1000+. But remember kakashi is not an uchiha so he had to work hard in order to control the eyes since his chakra isn't no where near an uchihas. Also he learned MS all by himself so props for him becuase if u remember at the begiinning of the shippuuden series even kakashi was impress by kakashi when kakashi said that over using the MS really took tremendous toll on the vision and only way for kakashi to have known dat is because he has used the MS himself and knows the consequences of over using it. So kakashi didn't work to get the eye since it was a gift but he has worked hard to brin them up to the lvl he has dem now

Just as Naruto uses his determination/willpower to drive him in difficult situations Sasuke likewise uses his hatred to exert himself farther in battle. The Kyuubi is a separate power which he does not always rely on and tends to not use it if possible.

During most of Sasuke’s recent battles he has been using an incomplete Susanoo consisting of ribs/skeletal frame rather than his full version which would mean that the requirements aren’t as high as what one would imagine. Sasuke was tended to by Karin inside Madara’s mask dimension and was later on able to further complete his Susanoo by giving it a crossbow, etc. Toward the end of his fight with Danzo he received chakra from Karin again which made it possible for him to finish Danzo/ fight against Kakashi where he completed it for a short period of time before he practically went blind. Itachi was basically a living zombie and was fighting death through sheer willpower/rumored medicine and was able to use his completed of Susanoo in that poor state (he was obviously terminally ill and had previously spammed Amaterasu, sustained injuries/became even more fatigued and used multiple genjutsu along with Tsukuyomi before he activated it). Susanoo is mainly able to remain existent through the user’s life force, the chakra falls under a secondary requirement and yet Itachi was able to use it for quite some time during his fight with Sasuke so I think it is obvious that one could use an incomplete version of this technique of this technique for a long period of time if they have a strong enough will to withstand it. Sasuke isn’t even in a terminal state and was replenished several times during the fights he used it (Karin at least twice, Zetsu).

It has been noted that Sasuke's advancement of his Susanoo is triggered by his intense feelings of hatred and a vast majority of readers right away deem that as ridiculous, etc. but if we take a second to think about it do we honestly know the entire mechanisms behind Susanoo? All we know about it is that it feeds on life force/chakra of its user but a possibility is that it could also feed on its user’s intense emotions and the other two requirements may only be a moderate to even minor amount. Itachi wished to protect Konoha and Sasuke and his version of it was seen as a bright luminous warrior whereas Sasuke’s is seen as dark cruel avenger. I believe it is highly possible that Itachi’s emotions of wanting to protect everything he cared about could have acted like a vast source of power alongside his the other requirements. The user is the medium in which Susanoo relies upon and it may simply be a personification of the user itself. I’m just trying to say is that we do NOT completely know everything about this technique, how it initiates its advancements and its exact requirements to function fully therefore we shouldn’t completely deem it as ridiculous because we still don’t know everything about it.

people keep saying sasuke can do this because jiraiya can force himself back to life, or kimimaru can force his body to move through a fatal illness.
well id say jiraiya only forced himself to write a message then die. he didnt pull a sasuke and force himself back to life then fight and defeat pein.
kimimaru did force his body to move but when his time came he still died. he was inches from killing gaara and seemed to hold great hatred for him as he was down talking orochimaru yet as soon as his time came poof.

as this shows sasuke fought itachi and the fight didnt last as long as his battle with the kages and or danzo yet he ran out of chakra and needed treatment in order to stay alive. we all know sasuke hated itachi so no one can use the hate card. not only that but sasuke used more chakra consuming jutsu constantly.
this fight wasnt too long ago yet sasuke not only seems to have far more chakra but at the end of it not only was he still awake.

even naruto wouldnt have enough chakra to compete with that and he has sage mode, alot of chakra and the kyubii.

i know sasuke needs to get more power but randomly giving him the chakra status of a god isnt the corect way. kishi will need to shed some light onto this.

I actually like it when ppl post confirmed spoilers b/c of ppl like you who blow up though what you said isnt that bad at all its still funny.

Some ppl blow up so bad I can see their faces turning bright red and steam coming out of their ears and cussing up a storm and if they had someone next to them I feel bad b/c they would problably be seriously injured or strangled or beat to death. Its like alot of ppl on the forums have anger issues or seek attention threw rants or blowing up.

Anyways whoever posts spoilers I hope they dont stop and doubt they will b/c someone always does and I always scan ahead as fast as I can to see somone blow their lid , I remember almost falling out of my chair and hitting my head on the cedar chest near my comp it was so funny.

We can see naruto make a few clones and use rasengan to finish off his enemy, but nothing too crazy. But sasuke calls out sasunoo and uses his MS and holds them for a good while, something not even naruto can do without going into fox mode.

As for raikage yea he does have the chackra lvls of a bijuu but hey he is the raikage meaning he was appointed raikage for a reason who knows it was maybe because he had huge chackra lvls to start with from birth. But sasuke is different. Put it this way sasuke is a car who runs out of fuel halfway through the race, so he gets pissed off and just because of that he gets a full tank of gas.

Well, if you think about it, did Sasuke sustain such severe injuries like that of Jiraiya? No and yet he was able to will himself back to life for a brief moment to send a message to Naruto via Fukasaku. Jiraiya possessed severely potential deadly wounds and is the reason why he couldn?t survive much longer than what he actually was able to. I could understand your point with more clarity if only Sasuke had more or less the wounds that Jiraiya had but the fact is that he did not. What you keep missing is that even though they had a body close to death they were able to move/fight with their will, hatred, etc.

Sasuke had not a terminal body and Itachi/Kimimaro did. If they were able to continue for however their will allowed, Sasuke should be able to do better not even having a drawback such as death. In my opinion, I think all that Kishi has displayed with Sasuke and his hatred can inform us the seemingly never-ending depth in which obviously heavily surpasses Kimimaro?s hatred. Sasuke is not GOD as Madara/Zetsu have had to intervene now and then. Your link can actually be debated and this is why, take a look below:

Here we have Naruto carrying doubts within himself and could be why his will wavers as seen before Minato's conversation in which encouraged Naruto. However, Itachi/Kimimaro even Jiraiya briefly had a task at hand that held such importance that they were able to cheat death for a while. Whilst, Sasuke had not a fatal illness/wound(s) and has such a will/hatred that pushes him past normal limits as well as being a direct ascendant of the Rikudou Sennin (I think having Rikudou as an ancestor alone speaks for itself among the other factors in which excels him).

Well, in my opinion, I think it is apparent that Sasuke?s hatred for what Itachi underwent via elders/Danzou and now believing Konoha entirely, progressed farther than the hate for Itachi before the truth came out. Hence Sasuke's composure/stable mind then (before Itachi died) and now (after Itachi died) his unstable psyche/uncontrollable murderous thirst. Hatred could play a major factor into how Sasuke is able to withstand such feats and or having to do with his ancestry. Maybe his chakra reserves increased over time as he continued fighting. There are possibilities out there and people can choose to accept that or maintain patience until Kishi decides to inform us readers.

Or Naruto could have said that so he wouldn?t have to fight him and possibly kill him before having the chance to change him. It is a possibility that Naruto wants Sasuke replenished in hopes that when they fight in the near future that he will have a better opportunity to reach him through their fists once again and finally be able to turn him or at least in my opinion. Kishi has shed some light on this very subject and most simply would like it to be a bit clearer.
