I'll rewatch the movie sometime to confirm stuff, but I suspect that it's just from being a pure blooded Hyuga, which would maintain Haruma's traits such as chakra. From what I remember, she didn't "receive" anything. The only question is if she awakened the chakra in the film, and didn't have it for the rest of the series. If it's A, then it probably does give her a boost. If it's B, it doesn't.

So what is this power he's referring to ? The Energy Vessel. What was in the core of the Energy Vessel? Hamura's Tenseigan. Hence why he says this power of Hamura's can move the moon, and hence why the moon begins falling again despite the lack of an Energy Vessel or Tenseigans in Toneri's eye sockets to do so.

by taking in Hamura's Tenseigan, which created the core of the Energy Vessel, and the countless Byakugans sealed within, he had access to Hamura's chakra.

So Toneri has Hamura's chakra at that point.

I could probably point out tons more moments where the movie's colour schemes follow the anime's, so using the argument of "purple is just Hinata's regular chakra colour" is invalid.

And on that note, I'll also add that when Hiashi used Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven at the beginning of the movie to defend himself against Toneri's puppets, what colour was his chakra? Oh, that's right, it was blue.

So both Naruto and Hiashi's chakra colours were depicted as blue, the standard for the anime colouration.

And yet, Hinata's chakra was purple when she used Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists, after having met with Hamura, rather than how it was depicted as blue in the anime.

Yes she did, why else would she meet with Hamura on the moon. This also explain the reason why Toneri was shocked to see Hinata recharge Naruto near the end. Also you dot recieve chakra just by being a descendant of someone, your either a transmigrant or its directly given to you.

Toneri was just surprised on seeing Hinata recharge Narutos chakra, why would he be shocked on seeing her having Hamura's chakra when he knew Hinata wanted to destory the energy vessel while knowing it can only be destroyed by someone carrying Hamura's chakra, he wasn't surprised then
