That's not the question.
Do you truly believe that an ethereal, otherworldly spirit shield would be designed only to defend itself...?
Did I say that? okay here's a scenario for you: Itachi has susanoo up with yata mirror. Someone Attacks from behind with a Susanoo-busting justu. Itachi doesn't move or tries to counter it by moving yata. Does Yata defend against it?
Yata Mirror isn't a solid physical weapon, it's said to be a spiritual weapon that has no physical form and can avoid all the attacks. Since it hasn't a solid form, Yata can probably "move" according to the attack's position and avoid it (databook says that Yata is able to alter its attributes according to the attacks).

That can be viewed as it can't be seen or that it isn't tangible. Both are incorrect as it takes the form of a shield and it has to be tangible to come into contact with things in order to repel attacks.
Yata can "probably" move but it hasn't been shown doing so. The most we've seen the mirror do is grow in size and its uaully moved via Susanoo arm.
Ohnoki is not faster than Kakashi, who already failed an attack from underground against a 30% clone. Aoda isn't eating an entire Susano'o. And Gaara has no feats outside of Ohnoki's help, same with Rasa.
The Kakashi that used Headhunter was a clone as well and bait for Naruto to end him with a rasengan...
