He specifically said Ashura gained equal power to Indra without his help, Hagoromo never made his chakra bloom, he only gave "power" after Ashura's chakra bloomed. If he was given literal power then he would have been stronger than Indra which wasn't the case.

When you inherit a group of followers you are inheriting power. And from what we know Senju have had the most political power amongst all the clans.

Hey guys. I skimmed through the chapters again recently and noticed again the fact that Hagoromo entrusted his powers only to Ashura when the two brothers started the first war between them. Indra obviously didn't enjoy the powerup from his father since he thought the right way to go about it was only to give Ashura an advantage.

Since this time around he gave his powers equally to both brothers, do you agree that Naruto appears to be superior than his predecessor because of the lack of an advantage the latter had?

Actually, is it confirmed that he gave his chakra powers to Ashura...or did he simply entrust everything about Ninshu to him? It'd make no sense if he gave him his complete chakra. Then Ashura would have had complete six paths chakra like Obito...so all of his transmigrants should've inherited the complete chakra by default. Also in Ashura's time there was no threat like Madara, so there was no need to giveaway the Yin Yang Seals.

The key in that sentence is "THIS TIME". It doesn't matter how much power he gave him. The point is that he gave him some sort of power. I don't know if you people struggle with semantics or simply deny its meaning.

Dude, Ninshu doesn't have anything to do here since it has no relevance to Naruto and Sasuke. He was talking about Indra and Ashura in correlation to Naruto and Sasuke. If the correlation is there, there's no way he was talking about political power because it would be of no significance to Naruto and Sasuke. Logical deduction would be that he's talking about his powers.

Key points are this time and same amount. The first bolded means that he's done it before and we know it's about Indra and Ashura because he was talking about them in the same premise. lol dude He gave ashura power. Ashura do not have enough chakra on his own to connect everybody through ninshuu. Therefore his father gave him power to do so.

Although according to manga (which seems illogical here), Ashura was equal (held the same power as Indra), received "power" from Hagoromo (currently holding power over his former self), but died in combat against Indra (both died, yet Indra was told to have no power up). So it's weird how someone with more power dies/stalemates against someone with less power.....:|
