Why Naruto is superior to Ashura: Yay or nay?

Hey guys. I skimmed through the chapters again recently and noticed again the fact that Hagoromo entrusted his powers only to Ashura when the two brothers started the first war between them. Indra obviously didn't enjoy the powerup from his father since he thought the right way to go about it was only to give Ashura an advantage.

Since this time around he gave his powers equally to both brothers, do you agree that Naruto appears to be superior than his predecessor because of the lack of an advantage the latter had?

He did. And he said that he later got better because others acknowledged him, much like Naruto. Hagoromo's mistake was that he left power only to him, which was a mistake. That's why this time he gave them both power.

He did. You misunderstood. Hagoromo was talking about acknowledgment of others which was the reason why he got better and stronger, like Naruto did.

He gave power only to Ashura and this time, he gave them both.

Naruto succeeded where Ashura failed: Reconciling with his brother.

Imagine if those two made up before they died. The world would have not been so warmongering.

This was obvious ever since Sasuke surpassed Indra. Ashura had healing, mokuton, SM and avatar mode and goududama. Naruto has all of those including 9 bijuu and TSB that Ashura didn't have

And considering Naruto already had Ashura's chakra, when he received Hagoromo's chakra it ended up being (Ashura+Ashura+Indra)

JJ Madara = Naruto + Sasuke > Hagoromo

I don't think he meant literal power, he was saying that as he dies he ensured that Ashura carries out his will. The only power he got from him was the use of Ninshuu. As inheritor of Ninshuu he was a leader of many followers and hence gained political power.
