Need some tech help.

It's about Counter Strike 1.6. Whenever I try to connect to a server,It tells me that:

"Your .dll [cl_dll\client.dll] differs from the server's"

I have tried renaming cstrike as cstrk61 and have replaced a client.dll file with a fixed one..but it doesn't help

Most likely the server uses protocol 48, while you have 47.

Is the CS you have a pirated version? If so just download a version with protocol 48.

The 1.6 is 300-400 mb at best. If you don't want to download all of it, just search for protocol 48 patch.
