Scenario 2:
TEAM UP Deidara with Sasori. Minato knows that puppet users use harsh poisons.

Minato wins. Sensing + Hiraishin allows him to dance around Deidara's bombs, Bunta can be summoned to pressure Deidara in the air and Hiraishin Level 2 with a kunai or rasengan ends it. He blitzes Sasori with a rasengan to his core, where Minato can sense his source of chakra. Side note: Sage Mode canonically isn't viable for Minato.

I just thought he might need SM to sense C4 particles coming towards him.

If so, Minato's only hope of winning is if he can blitz Deidara before he gets aerial which is very likely just saying that once Deidara goes air borne Minato cant compete

Yes, base but he can go SM although as people have pointed out it won't help him much. And if Deidara goes airborne Minato literally throws a kunai, Deidara dodges it, and Deidara gets a Rasengan to the back.

Do you know how far away Deidara by the time that Kunai reaches him? If he ever tries that again Deidara preps C1s to explode at the station of the kunai

that's assuming Deidara knows anything about how Minato's version of FTG works, which in this thread, he has no intel of.

It doesn't matter if Minato fires a kunai he's going to avoid it via bird as he'll take advantage of the throw to go on the offensive with explosives as well, if Deidara can somehow get mines under ground via a clone he discretely uses Minato loses no question. However even if not once C4 enters its pretty much GG

Erm, @Bold I think that's exactly how Minato is going to Rasengan him in the back. Agreed though C4 is tough for Minato to deal with but he does still have his summonings which would block the outflow for enough time for Minato to escape via FTG (people say he can sense the little C4's) and also he does have Frog Song in his arsenal so prepping is a definite possibility)

No he can't sense the bombs without using his sensing jutsu which is too slow... Not to mention they would flow through and around the toads anyways which get eaten away in seconds.

He avoids the kunai by flying away....

@1stBold Is that how an explosion of air works on a small timescale? Is that physics? No. Not saying it wouldn't eventually happen due to air currents but the force of explosion outwards is greater than any miniscule air current force at least initially. But I'm nitpicking.

@2ndBold I LOLed at the dots. And I'm SAYING that yes he dodges the kunai, the FTG kunai which allows Minato to FTG to that kunai the moment Deidara dodges it as it's coming straight for him.. Now of course if Deidara was half a kilometre above as you're probably thinking about then this wouldn't work but I highly doubt Minato would allow for that take off.

Even if he were to throw a FTG kunnai it wont cover 75m within a few seconds unless the kunai is already behind Deidara. Im sayign W/O FTG because there is no way he can cover that much distance with raw speed
