Hashirama was Nerfed hard as an asura incarnate. All asura incarnates were shown as kurama jins(Chakra Mode) and with Hashirama's power he could've easily supressed/tamed Kyuubi as its host. Kishi instead decided to make his wife mito kurama's jin, like wtf? Imagine Hashirama with his current powers + 100% kurama within, GG NV.

They also reduced his efficiency in longer ranges in compensation his stability, or vice versa.

Madara on the other hand received a 9.7% buff in overall damage to make his DPS on par with other types.

Hagoromo got nerfed in range, and stability.

Hinata left, untouched after the buff.

Kaguya no longer over pierces 5 walls, and has damage drop off.

Reduced Starting Chakra for all Uchiha.

If hashirama was indeed kurama's jin, there would be no madara as he would've got wrecked first battle. Instead kishi made madara rely on kurama even still hashirama wrecked.

Hashirama does not rely/need of 3rd party power source. He became god of shinobi of his time with what he already had.
He distributed bijus as a way of resolving peace so it makes sense he never thought arming himself with bijuus.

Ashura on his own was nothing, only through hardwork + help of others did he become strong. Also that chakra avatar/cloak(Orange Flames) is distinctly/exclusively kurama's. Mangafacts.

Not to mention his Sage Mode was very peculiar, how'd he even learn SM is beyond me. He was a perfect sage at that.

That's wrong, Uzumaki were kurama jins because Senju had mokuton. Every Ootsutsuki clan inherits a unique power related to Hagoromo.

And the chakra mode is Senjutsu. Naruto got his chakra cloak from Kurama because bijuu are also made of Hagoromo's chakra, which is Senjutsu. :yeah:

What? Only hashirama originally has mokuton, senjutsu doesn't grant cloak like features, only jinchuriki. More specifically kurama's chakra mode makes one glow orange with flame like flickering.

He obviously has because he possessed kurama chakra mode & gudodama. He was obviously a jinchuriki because he needed the power to match his brothers natural talent(visual prowess). Unless you're telling me asura suddenly mastered every element and gained his own chakra avatar + gudodama and sage mode on his own, this would defy his entire character.
