Itachi's questionable actions

Itachi is known as the good guy but he did some questionable things.

1) Beating up Sasuke. This led Sasuke to give up his body for vengeance and abandoning his friends.

2) Telling Sasuke to kill his own friend to attain MS.

3) Attempting to kidnap Kakashi.

^ Daybreaker likes Itachi but can someone explain how Itachi's actions above are justified.

Itachi's moral was already stated to be a grey space.

Besides he did the first to strengthen Sasuke & to gain Sasuke's hate for his planned death which would leave Sasuke a hero.
The second was questionable.
The third was purposely unfulfilled.

Itachi told Sasuke to have hatred.

He told sasuke to kill his best friend (Naruto).

Sasuke takes Itachi's advise on hatred but he didn't take his advise to kill Naruto to attain MS. Anyways, Itachi is unstable. Daybreaker thinks he enjoys playing the part of bad guy and sometimes he just went overboard with it. lol.

1) He need to convince Sasuke that he is evil so Sasuke will kill him and awaken the Mangekyo

2) he knew his father told Sasuke not to be like him and convincing he killed Shisui and this stopped Sasuke killing Naruto though he said it's because of a whim .

3) to make leaf believe he is evil .

He is not "known" but is the good guy but the method to which he accomplishes this is questionable but these are the things like Danzu does for the Sake of the Leaf and his lil brother.
