man, u guys get testy when ppl insult ur favorite characters... u should all just relax a bit. Here is the truth from someone whose favorite character (Itachi) is long dead.

Naruto is a carefree ninja who, although learns life lessons and tries to share his views of peace on the world, rushes into things and has a hard time accepting reality. His ninja abilities are extremely advanced, not because of any power-ups, but because of hard training and amazing ninja battles. Despite this, Naruto's stamina often pulls him unfairly through unbeatable battles. He does not want to give up on Sasuke because he knows the pain he is going through. Also, Naruto's way to change people is key to his battle strategy, and he is a overall good-hearted ninja who has gotten through tough times with hard work.

Sasuke is a strategic and exceptionally powerful ninja because of his skillful techniques with his sharingan. However, he is also extremely skilled with his ninja sword/chidori attacks. Although his MS abilities were given to him by Itachi, he worked hard in order to strengthen them. Sasuke shoulders the entire hatred and want of revenge from the Uchiha clan, and this made him vulnerable to Madara's wishes; he is following Madara's will in order to achieve his own revenge, and his eyes have completely closed off to the light because of his absolute and necessary need for revenge. Although he is still able to recall his friends in the past, he is completely driven mad by hatred, and therefore disregards his comrades' wishes of peace, and swares that he will destroy Konoha for all they have done. Despite this, he is incredibly strong and DOES WORK HARD to achieve it.


Anyway, I liked the chapter. It was interesting, and it really ties everything together and sets it up for future chapters. My prediction is that Naruto begins training to either get a cool new jutsu or control the 9 tails. We will see some more of Kisame (maybe it will just cut to him getting the 8 tails and spare the fight that we know the result of) and Kisame will do a little damage in the Raikage's village. We will see Kabutomaru's plans for the future-more than likely he will plan to kill Sasuke and meet up with him. Sasuke will begin to get used to his sharingan and face Kabuto-this will be his big debut of his new EMS. Tsunade will return as Hokage, and Kakashi might take Danzou's place in the council of Konoha, or he might just go back to being the same old Kakashi. Well, those are my predictions for the future of the manga.

Knowing Kakashi, I also have a feeling that he'll turn down the position as Tsunade is already conscious, unless the lady insistently resists so. I agree that it's also possible to for him to fill in Danzo's position.

I think you give Sasuke an unreasonable amount of credit. I don't care if Sasuke is like a blood brother to Naruto, it is plainly nonsensical that Naruto still cares for him after the fact that he tried to kill Sakura, Kakashi, tried to kill him without remorse, and pledged to destroy all the innocent people of the Leaf Village. That is an offense that only in this manga would be overlooked. Even friendship has a limit, and Sasuke has gone over it too many times. It seems as though your sharingan isn't as good as mine, foolish little brother...

Well, that is your opinion but I simply express what I think about the manga and the characters in it. That again is your opinion however, in my opinion, I think that it makes perfect logical sense that Naruto would never give up on Sasuke. I also think it is important to keep in mind and not toss away the fact how Naruto feels towards Sasuke (bond/brother/friend/rival wise) as the second part of the manga is mainly based around these two. What about Gaara/Nagato? Like I?ve stated countless times in the past who have killed but were able to change and Naruto was not ever even remotely close to them as he is to Sasuke.

Gaara has killed/Nagato destroyed Konoha which resulted in death/injuries and each felt just as justified as Sasuke feels about his actions. Sasuke went from wanting the higher ups of Konoha to the entire village?s destruction because in his broken mind, he believes that all the villagers were enjoying themselves and possessing no compassion for Itachi?s sacrifice. After Nagato passed his breaking point, he rekindled his hatred towards Konoha and it grew as he began thinking that the village profited from the tragedies of Ame via the war between the two. The two of them felt hate as a result of a misconstrued truth for the same village. Nagato witnessed his parents? murder and unbeknownst to him actually killed the two Konoha shinobi who accidently killed his family.

Sasuke had to witness the murder of his entire clan repeatedly by his own brother twice over. As well as forced into becoming an avenger by Itachi?s accord, tempted by Orochimaru for more power and corrupted by Madara which all in all was a pawn who had been intercepted time and time again. In my opinion, this is exactly why he turned into what he is currently. I think you need to leave that incognito behind and embrace your pacifistic ways onii-san.

And by the way, pacayiaro, don't insult the Westerners. You got way too sensitive over a manga character and brought up an issue of race. Don't get wise Sasuke...or you'll be banned from the Uchija Clan. Orokanaru, ototoyo...

If you had bother to read more closely then you would have seen that my aim was to expose how the westerners explode the powerup concept way out of proportion compared to the Japanese and for your info I too am a westerner. Although, if my post seemed to insinuate insolence then for that I indeed apologize as that was not my initial intention. I was mainly trying to voice out how I felt on the exaggerated powerup subject but never to offend anyone.​

Well actually Madara said he would have to collect the Rinnegan eyes so he doesn't have the Rinnegan YET but it will make him way too powerful if he has both EMS and the Rinnegan but it will also make the fight (if Naruto fights Madara) more intriguing mainly how will Naruto manage to beat Madara.

Ya I also thought about it, if Konoha will exist which will be the case then there will be many Hokages and all of their faces cant be curved on the mountain So I guess they have to destroy the faces of the previous Hokages to curve of the new ones or they will simply make a artificial mountain using a Earth element tech

Yeah, finally a saw what`s naruto`s third possibility. In shippuuden itachi gave naruto one piece of him. It means if naruto will die, sasuke will die with him. That`s why they`ll die together. Goog work, Itachi

According to the original Naruto manga before Kishi bought it off and became the official known author, at this stage, Naruto fights for Hokage position and reveals to everyone who his father is. Neither Tsunade nor Kakashi will be Hokage.

The gift Itachi gave to Naruto is a light side Susanoo, but it's not enough to defeat Sasuke's EMS. Naruto will train to control all 9 tails and learn to combine sage mode with kyuubi but that shortens his life drastically.

Killerbee eventually is captured, Sasuke defeats Kisame, Kisame is killed by Gai going all gates and Sakura manages to save Gai from dying.

Also, Sasuke isn't the final battle. Madara will extract kyuubi but Naruto survives the process. Kushina is still alive, and Naruto defeats Madara. After Sasuke dies the story focuses more on Naruto's family background.

Not sure if this will happen but that's what happened in the manga before Kishi bought it off.

No, i think he means that Kishi had finished the ORIGINAL manga but he didn't make enough money or something so he sold it to some company and started it over and changed a few things because (THIS IS NOT NECESSARILY TRUE) i heard somewhere that in the original manga naruto didnt have the nine tails sealed in him, ninetails was actually his dadeek: Weird i no right) and when he got mad a tail came out. IDK he might had made more that 2 versions of naruto i think i actually read it in naruto base. I'll get the link if i can find it! i hope i helped atleast a little

Disagree. Itachi wasn't evil. He appeared evil to people who don't know the story, but he was a good guy who loved his village and loved his brother. Itachi's power is not the evil that Karin sensed in him.

The fox is evil, and I don't see why Karin wouldn't have been able to sense that. The seal was specially crafted to allow the Fox's chakra to leak out and mix with Naruto's chakra. If the chakra can get out of the seal, Karin should be able to sense it.

Karin didn't sense evil in Killer Bee because the 8-tailed Ox isn't evil like the 9-tailed fox is. When we've seen the Ox in Killer Bee's consciousness, he has been nice, mild-mannered, and concerned about Killer Bee's wellbeing. The Ox is completely different from the Fox, the Fox is pure evil and Karin can sense that.

Hmmm i sort of disagree because ninetails isnt PURE evil remember madara forced him to attack the leaf village and didnt even try to help him when he was seal. if i was nine tails i would be pissed off too lol. plus ninetails is supposed to punish people who do bad or something he was created that way you have to live with it lol. but i agree itachi is totally good and shouldnt be blamed it was probably ninetails AWESOME chakra and yes im a ninetails fan its obvious isnt it. lol
anyways i agree :sasuke: always gets power the easy way. first orochimaru then madara while :naruto: has to train like 10X more than him just to be at his level. rly i wish naruto would just get rinnegan and wipe sasuke off his feet.
P.s :sakura: SUCKS at first she was alot better than normal naruto but now she is back to crying oh well.

@ You all I don?t understand why when someone especially Sasuke gets a "powerup" most of the forums collapses. In Nihon-koku (Japan) power-up(s) are a form of wasei-eigo (Japanese pseudo-Anglicisms) and the Nihonjin (Japanese people) accept powerups as it is common for them. Then we have westerners who take it as gaining something without training or are obtained as a result of the mangaka, creator, etc. favoring that character, in love with the character or some other nonsense reasoning they think up out of aggravation or from venting. They have powerups in manga titles, songs, games, etc. and they accept it without hesitation/clamor. It saddens me to observe people complaining of something too common.

So what if Sasuke gets an eye implant and becomes stronger. Naruto has had his own powerup when he trained for Sage Mode. How long did it take him compared to Jiraiya who died having yet mastered it? If you ask me Naruto learned something that seemed to take a vast amount of time to perfect and yet he did it within an extremely short period of time so even though he trained he even had a powerup as well. Who is to say that Kishi doesn?t give Naruto another powerup through this new training of his which would also speed it up by a great amount? Who is to say that Sasuke won?t train with his Eien since it does not have the drawbacks of its proceeders? Madara attained Eien no Mangekyou without training either as he simply asked his brother who agreed and I don?t see anybody complaining about that.

Madara has had his powerup as well but there is nothing wrong with that, ne? The Sharingan works in that sort of manner, powerup as you can suffer and gain the next level without having to train or simply get an implant. Sasuke is not the only Uchiha who has this certain Doujutsu Kekkei Genkai but is mainly the one to get ridiculed when other Uchiha have gotten theirs through alternative circumstances. What about Kakashi, who isn?t even an Uchiha and yet attains his even though it was done in elapsed time where as it, was never confirmed (in my opinion through the pain of loss) however, another powerup nethertheless. I know no matter what I say will most likely have no effect although, I only wish for people to be more open-minded before saying such negative things.



To understand Naruto is to acknowledge that he thinks of Sasuke more than a friend but rather family, a "blood brother" if you will. Possessing such feelings/bond to a family member it is no wonder how far he goes for Sasuke. Naruto states it himself "Its funny Sasuke?you and I could?ve easily?been standing in each other?s shoes right now." Which reveals the depth of Naruto?s understanding for Sasuke?s feelings/situation. In my opinion, it is very realistic and it simply seems as if you?re not liking it.





If you?re going to continue insulting the mangaka then may I advise you to cease reading the manga any longer.​

I didnt understand what u said in the beginning but i agree! no one seems to be bothered when naruto learned rasengan in like a week when it took the 4th hokage like 3 years. the only reason everyone pin points sasuke is because he is "bad" and doesnt accept naruto or what ev. The only power up problem i see with sasuke is that he get power ups too often :\ maybe they should put just a little more time between his power ups but i agree (even tho i dont like sasuke and was dissapointed that he got itachi's eyes) that sasuke needed the ems! He was going BLIND.

About Madara's power up, thats a bit different because he wanted to save his clan, sasuke only wants revenge (atleast at this point), plus he didn't even know he would get ems he just didnt want to be blind. lol.

Yea i think naruto does consider him as a brother, but sometimes he goes a tad too much. but thats naruto's character and what makes the manga great. because if naruto just killed sasuke then what? i mean rly kishi knows what he is doing

I totally understand that this is your opinion but I don’t necessarily agree with it. Naruto himself stated that he could have easily been in Sasuke’s position, which meant that if certain factors played out differently he himself would have been out for Konohagakure’s destruction. Iruka was there for Naruto and provided him with a shoulder to lean on during the times of crisis he had during his childhood. Naruto is merely trying to do what Iruka did for him with Sasuke – change all of his hate into something else. Gaara also tried to kill Sakura and plotted with his village to bring destruction to Konohagakure and Naruto may have been angry/hated him at the time but I believe if Naruto personally knew him then he would have attempted to help/change him. Sasuke is an entirely different case for Naruto – he sees him as a brother and he was also his first real “bond”. If you had a brother who was confused and angry your country and acted out on irrational decisions would you stop caring for him/abandon him? Naruto is playing the compassionate brother role and I don’t see how it is so “nonsensical”. Just as you see things from your side there are others who view things from an opposite standpoint.


I’m a westerner and I didn’t consider his statement an insult. Again, it is a matter of personal interpretation and doesn’t necessarily mean he intended it as such.

After careful consideration I would have to agree with his standpoint as this forum is a prime example of how people overdramatically take the power-up issue. If People can’t handle or simply don’t approve of it then I personally believe that they would be better off not even reading them in the first place as practically half of the shounen manga in general are based off of power-ups.

i.e. Dragonball Z, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Bleach etc.

This part of my post is directed at the People who believe Sasuke’s Eien no Mangekyou made him instantly godly.

The Sharingan is the Uchiha clan’s Kekkei Genkai respectfully and it so happens that they are able to further advance them through combat/killing a close friend - relative, emotional pain and or stealing/receiving another member's eyes.

If Sasuke did in fact receive Eien no Mangekyou it isn't like he would be instantly godly with it and know every single detail about it, he would be good but only through battling/training could he perfectly perfect its usage. The Uchiha alongside the Senju clan obviously trained to master their skills whether it was through actual training or through battle so it wasn't like they just received their power and didn’t ever need to train. The two clans both held the top tier status by perfecting their skills meaning that they must have practiced a lot, no? I do admit the Uchiha are granted extremely powerful Doujutsu but they must pay a price which is having to kill one another or go through emotional stress. Everyone else has to go through hard labor to receive their skills but you should keep in mind that only through actual labor are the Uchiha then able to master theirs as well.​

First of all, Gaara was a child and decided to change. Sasuke had people like Naruto, Kakashi and Sasuke who supported him and considered him as family, and yet he abandoned them and tried to kill them. He is a grown man with no plans of self improvement, but only destruction. Naruto is a cool idiot who never gives up, the point in the story. Any rational human being would have given up on Sasuke a long time ago. If I had a confused brother or friend I would naturally try and help, as long as he does not go over the limit like Sasuke. Gaara was hateful since his early beginnings, but he decided to to become good, and Sasuke decided to embrace the darkness. Their life circumstances are not the same; Sasuke started treading on the right path and then chose the evil one. Second, people have as much right to criticize Sasuke as people do to defend him. People who can not take criticism of their favorite character are the ones who should not read the manga. I like Sasuke, don't get me wrong, but in a way his character conception is pathetic due to the fact that he obtains overwhelming power without even trying, when compared to everybody else. For example, when he was about to fight Kakashi his Susano'o became so much stronger after he had gone through a deadly and chakra draining battle with Danzo, which amounts to nonsense. I would not complain if he had been at his fullest when he encountered Kakashi, but after being beaten half dead? Come on! You have to be more realistic than that...Aren't you? Third, in animes such as Dragon Ball Z, the main character worked his butt off to obtain great power. The problem is not how many upgrades a character gets, but the way in which they get them. Another example, Sasuke was only able to beat Naruto after the Sound 4 performed the cursed mark ritual and increased his power, because prior to that Naruto was much stronger (the reason which pushed him to flee the village. He could not stand that a dimwit like Naruto had surpassed him, an "elite," though hard work). I know Naruto has used the kyuubi a couple of times, which I also critisize, but let us not forget that the same power has also caused him significant setbacks. For example, he was not able to control his own chakra because the Kyuubi's chakra caused interference. However, Naruto has pulled himself up and trained with all his might to gain power. I am not saying that Sasuke has not trained either, but that some of his powers were not obtained in an honorable way. I am pretty sure Orochimaru used drugs on him to increase his power; something which was also said in the manga. Is that fair? Naruto has the Kyuubi and that's it. And even that is not an advantage anymore against Sasuke since the sharingan particularly controls the Kyuubi. Naruto has never used ability enhancing drugs. Four, He might not have meant to offend people, but his words were certainly quite offensive. I think that there is something more powerful than perspective, and that is common sense. That is the reason why people should think before they speak, specially if they plan to say potentially conflictive words. Do I have to repeat myself? I at first was hesitant to reply to this comment because I thought it would be pointless, but then decided to make a point: Is not how much power or upgrades a character gets, it's how it gets it. I think that people who criticizes Sasuke have much more ground to argue than people who defend him. So please, be a fair reader, and just stop being a Sasuke lover... Each time people come up defending Sasuke they sound so ignorant...
