So now Shira could use almost similar to the hyuga clan technique which he was able to block Lee chakra point but then he kindly reopen again to see Lee full Potential. They even brought up Shira owl technique which probably indicate the reason why he was he able to block Neji jyuuken due to his 5 sense plus a Taijutsu speacilist. I personally think they did decent good job explaining Shira ability but I dunno how I feel about this. What do you guys thought of this, do you think it's still a retcon that the Hyuga attack gets countered??
By the way, this is the best episode by far, this series should've add more Taijutsu instead of going BS DBZ Scale Route, they brought up this interesting taijutsu concept of Lee training, and really cool unique style of Shira and they both went HAM which is why Taijutsu is the best formula of Jutsu.

Him blocking 64 palms, however, did make sense to a degree. Normal people can use the chakra points on their hands and feet, while Hyuga can do it from anywhere, so since Shira used the chakra points on his arm to block Neji's Gentle Fist, it seems reasonable. heavily exaggerated, but still reasonable.
I hate how SHira just has weird ass knock-offs of Lee and Neji's abilities. I mean, sure, I get the whole breathing thing mimicking the 8 gates, but being able to replicate Gentle fist abilities w/o even having Byakugan? Damn, these filler characters are broken af.

Yea the Bold part are the main issues I have with this character. It's true his Seven Heavenly Breaths allow his body to receive larger doses of oxygen it invigorates the body and simulate an amped or pumped feeling but does his ability also enhance his perception of knowing where to strike his body because of Lee Breathing gives vibration through out his whole body?? .

Remember gentle fist is Hyuga's special taijutsu? What does it mean anymore? A taujutsu user blocked Neji's attack. His rotation didn't work. Everyone has their own opinion tho.

First of all, I think it make sense that Shira blocked Neji attacked because his ability allow to mimic + a Taijutsu specialist but my only problem is that Neji only attacked Shira in one spot as well as Shira standin in one spot with his arms held up which it lack to perceive the situation so it's either that they are so lazy animating or perhaps they truly nerfed Neji.
And What do you mean rotation doesn't work??? We havn't seen him using it.

I don't even remembered Neji tried lol From what I can recall, Lee, Tenten and Neji are all stuck at the sand driving to the bottom pitfall and when that occurred Lee went gate and saved both Neji and Tenten.

I know it's highly unlikely that Hinata or even Naruto will no longer be important characters in Part 3, but do you think someone like Konehamaru or Hanabi will have prominent roles??

As for Hanabi.... well...haha don't get your hopes up at all. Kishi doesn't care about her or the Hyuga clan, she was ignored for 600 chapters then used as a plot device, not even appearing in the epilogue.
I think Konohamaru will, since I ahve this feeling that HE was originally supposed to be the main of p3 but was instead replaced with Bolt.
