Tsunade retains hokage title

naruto will master the power itachi gave him

you make a good point kakashi may be given the opportunity to become leader of AMBU since he was former AMBU and he knows alot about them. Also he is well respected by the elders and the hokage(tsunade). So he could he offered that position.

As for naruto and itachis gift it isn't certain what the give was we just see one of itachis crows go down narutos throat and itachi says that he hopes naruto never has to use that power(meaning the gift). I think it would be something like itachis chakra will fly out of naruto and take itachis form and itachi will talk to sasuke or something of that sort.

I think you give Sasuke an unreasonable amount of credit. I don't care if Sasuke is like a blood brother to Naruto, it is plainly nonsensical that Naruto still cares for him after the fact that he tried to kill Sakura, Kakashi, tried to kill him without remorse, and pledged to destroy all the innocent people of the Leaf Village. That is an offense that only in this manga would be overlooked. Even friendship has a limit, and Sasuke has gone over it too many times. It seems as though your sharingan isn't as good as mine, foolish little brother...

I totally understand that this is your opinion but I don?t necessarily agree with it. Naruto himself stated that he could have easily been in Sasuke?s position, which meant that if certain factors played out differently he himself would have been out for Konohagakure?s destruction. Iruka was there for Naruto and provided him with a shoulder to lean on during the times of crisis he had during his childhood. Naruto is merely trying to do what Iruka did for him with Sasuke ? change all of his hate into something else. Gaara also tried to kill Sakura and plotted with his village to bring destruction to Konohagakure and Naruto may have been angry/hated him at the time but I believe if Naruto personally knew him then he would have attempted to help/change him. Sasuke is an entirely different case for Naruto ? he sees him as a brother and he was also his first real ?bond?. If you had a brother who was confused and angry your country and acted out on irrational decisions would you stop caring for him/abandon him? Naruto is playing the compassionate brother role and I don?t see how it is so ?nonsensical?. Just as you see things from your side there are others who view things from an opposite standpoint.

You missed the point. He insulted people from the Western Hemisphere just because of their opinion. That was quite a racist statement when you think about it. I think he needs some anti-hate pills. Are you from the West? I was defending you! What does being from the west have to do with an opinion on manga? I think people should learn to think before they say things that might offend others...

I?m a westerner and I didn?t consider his statement an insult. Again, it is a matter of personal interpretation and doesn?t necessarily mean he intended it as such.

After careful consideration I would have to agree with his standpoint as this forum is a prime example of how people overdramatically take the power-up issue. If People can?t handle or simply don?t approve of it then I personally believe that they would be better off not even reading them in the first place as practically half of the shounen manga in general are based off of power-ups.

i.e. Dragonball Z, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Bleach etc.

This part of my post is directed at the People who believe Sasuke?s Eien no Mangekyou made him instantly godly.

The Sharingan is the Uchiha clan?s Kekkei Genkai respectfully and it so happens that they are able to further advance them through combat/killing a close friend - relative, emotional pain and or stealing/receiving another member's eyes.

If Sasuke did in fact receive Eien no Mangekyou it isn't like he would be instantly godly with it and know every single detail about it, he would be good but only through battling/training could he perfectly perfect its usage. The Uchiha alongside the Senju clan obviously trained to master their skills whether it was through actual training or through battle so it wasn't like they just received their power and didn?t ever need to train. The two clans both held the top tier status by perfecting their skills meaning that they must have practiced a lot, no? I do admit the Uchiha are granted extremely powerful Doujutsu but they must pay a price which is having to kill one another or go through emotional stress. Everyone else has to go through hard labor to receive their skills but you should keep in mind that only through actual labor are the Uchiha then able to master theirs as well.​

489: Difficult decisions

Naruto is eating at Ichiruku Ramen while the cook watches with pride. Naruto notices and stops to look at him. The cook sees next to Naruto the image of Naruto as a small boy sitting on the stool having ramen. The cook then smiles as the image vanishes.
Cook: "I was just thinking back to when you were a small boy first coming here to have ramen for the first time."
Naruto: "Yeah those were good times."
Shikimaru then walks over and pulls up a seat next to Naruto.
Shikimaru: "The others are still shocked by what you said about Sasuke. Do you really think that he is that unbeatable."
The cook smiles and brings over some food for Shikimaru. Naruto looks down but then puts his food asside and turns to face Shikimaru.
Naruto: "Have you ever truly had to kill a friend or partner Shikimaru?"
Shikimaru: "Sasuke is no longer your friend or partner Naruto."
Naruto: "You dodged the question. Have you ever truly had to kill a friend or partner?"
Shikimaru thinking: "Where is he going with this?"
Naruto: "You haven't because like it or not you never have had to make that decision. Sakura was put to that same test as was Kakashi but in both cases they could not do it."
Shikimaru: "So you are saying that if it came down to killing Sasuke I would not be able to do it?"
Naruto: "You would hesitate like everyone else because like it or not you still are not able to put asside your respect for everyone else. Thus if you had to kill anyone else here you would hesitate just like Sakura did."
Shikimaru: "And when I hesitate Sasuke would kill me. I get what you are saying now. If any of us try to fight him we will only stop ourselves and try to take him alive. That is why Sasuke would have an advantage over us."
Naruto nods his head, takes a drink, and then looks at Shikimaru.
Shikimaru: "But what makes you so sure that you can do what we can not?"
Naruto: "Sasuke and I have always been rivals. Always on a competeing level to see who is better. I get strong and Sasuke gets stronger. When we fight we fight until there is almost nothing left to hold us back. We are both equal and in many ways the same so odds are that if and when we do fight again we will fight until neither of us is able to fight back which means either one of has killed the other or probably both of us are dead."
Shikimaru's eyes widen as he realizes what Naruto is implying.
Shikimaru: "I understand now. I wish I did not understand now but now I see the burden you carry. I will try to stop the others. If what you suggest is true than we would only be a burden to you when that time comes."
Naruto starts to eat Ramen again while Shikimaru looks at Naruto.
Shikimaru thinking: "Damn now I feel stupid. This is such a drag."

Kakashi is visiting Tsunade as she lays on her bed in her room. Tsunade looks up at Kakashi as he enters. Tsunade sits up while kakashi leans against the wall.
Tsunade: "Hokage?"
Kakashi: "I wouldn't have expected it to happen myself but it seems that is what everyone is leaning towards. The others villages agree on it. The other jonin think it is for the best. Even the elders are convinced. Whether I like it or not I am the next hokage."
Tsunade: "But do you think you can handle it?"
Kakashi: "There are larger problems for me to be concerned about than mere titles."
Tsunade: "Its Naruto isn't it? What happened?"
Kakashi sits down next to Tsunade and looks her straight in the face.
Kakashi: "It seems that history is repeating iself with the Sanin."
Tsunade: "So Sasuke has sunk that low huh?"
Kakashi: "There is no bringing him back any more. The only solution I can see as an end to this conflict is for Sasuke to die."
Tsunade: "And with Naruto being similar to Jiraiya, he is determined to face Sasuke to the end just as Jiraiya was willing to only that final conflict never happened."
Kakashi: "I just don't know if I can think of any way to stop it."
Tsunade flashes back to Jiraiya as a young boy as they were getting a picture taken altogether.
Tsunade: "Im sure you will think of something Hokage-sama. Now if you do not mind I need to get some rest. Im still recovering from the fight with pain."
Kakashi slowly leaves while Tsunade lays back down in her bed. As Tsunade falls assleep one last thought goes through her head as she flashes back to Jiraiya as she last saw him.
Tsunade thinking: "Oh if only you were here Jiraiya. You would know what to do."

Naruto is wandering through Konoha at night when he suddenly sees a distant looming shadow seem to reach out at him from a distance away. Suddenly snakes move all around him and restraining him as he sees Kabuto moving towards him from the distance. Naruto struggles to reach for his kunai. Kabuto waves his finger at him.
Kabuto: "Relax Naruto. I am not here to kill you. I come to you now as an ally seeking to offer you a deal in exchange for a favor."
Naruto: "What will this favor cost me exactly?"
Kabuto: "Removal of the bounty placed on my head by Konoha.
Naruto: "And in return what do I get?"
Kabuto: "The one weapon Orochimaru was gonna use if the power of the Uchiha was too great to eliminate by physical means."
Kabuto reveals a vial containing a purple fluid. Kabuto stands face to face with Naruto only an inch or two away from his face.
Kabuto: "A specificly designed genetic virus to do one thing and one thing only, rob the uchiha of the greatest weapon, their eyes."
Naruto reaches his kunai but suddenly he finds himself all alone on the street with no one in sight.
Kabuto: "That is my offer. I will await your decision."

-Tsunade?s Recovery

(The scene starts off in Konoha? Naruto and Iruka are enjoying bowls of Ramen at Ichiraku.)

Iruka: As always, as of late, we haven?t had much time to talk to together (Iruka smiles).

Naruto: Oh, uh, sorry, it?s just I?ve been really busy?

Iruka: That?s fine. (Iruka puts his hand on Naruto?s shoulder.) I?m proud of you. Saving the village from the likes of Pain, if Jiraiya was here, I?m certain he?d feel the same way that I, as well as the villagers feel? (Naruto shrugs off.) Is something wrong Naruto?

Naruto: Well, that?s not how Shikamaru, Kiba, Neji, and the others feel.

Iruka: Hmm?

Naruto: I mean about Sasuke? I know in my heart that what I?m doing is right, but-(Naruto gets cut off).

Iruka: You?ll pull through, you always do?

Naruto: Iruka sensei?

Naruto (in thought): It?s more than just wanting to stop Sasuke from harming the village and be able to know that I did? I need the power to do so, but at this moment, I?m just not-(Iruka starts talking.)

Iruka: Your ramen will get cold if you don?t eat up?

Naruto: Oh, uh, yeah? Thanks? (Naruto starts to chow down. Immediately, Sakura appears behind Iruka and Naruto, and is ready to tell them of something important.)

Sakura: Iruka sensei! Naruto! HURRY, YOU GUYS HAVE TO COME WITH ME! (Naruto turns his head to face Sakura.)

Naruto: What is it? Can?t it wait? I?ll get to it when I?m done eating? (While Sakura grunts, Naruto turns around and stuffs his face with more ramen, immediately Sakura knocks Naruto upside the head, which causes him to start to choke on his food?) AWWK! AWWK!

Iruka: *Sigh.*

Sakura: It?s Tsunade Sama, I?ve heard that she?s awaken? (Naruto and Iruka turn around to face Sakura? They both have an amazed and shocked look on their faces. The scene switches over to a forested area. The unnamed Konoha shinobi that went to break up Kakashi?s appointment, the two unnamed Anbu, Kakashi, Homura, and Koharu are rushing from the Fire Capital to Konoha.)

Koharu: Hatake, was it really necessary for you to leave the Capital?

Kakashi: Is asking such a question even necessary? This is Tsunade we?re talking about.

Homura: Kohura and I, as advisors, will be enough to inform the lady of her terms. All you need to do is await appointment?

Unnamed shinobi (in thought): Those elders don?t in the least bit sound happy about the Lady?s recovery.

Homura (in thought): So, the Slug Queen awakens? This will put our political climate in quite the predicament. Hopefully, Koharu has my back on this one. (Homura glances over at Koharu, she nods her head as to suggest that an agreement between them is valid.)

Kakashi (in thought): I see, so that?s how things are. Those two, what could they be planning?

(The scene switches back over to Konoha. The scene is outside Tsunade?s cabin. There is a huge crowd gathered outside. Naruto, Sakura, and Iruka make it to the location.)

Sakura: SEE! I told you Naruto! Because of you we have to push our way through!

Naruto: SORRY! I was on a full stomach! (Naruto and Sakura are walking forward, however, the two of them are taken off guard when they picked up on that Iruka is just standing behind them.)

Hey! Aren?t you coming to see granny too!

Iruka: Nahh, I?ll pass? Don?t worry, I?d be kinda off not to see her, but I?ll wait until the crowd dies down. Don?t let me slow you two down.

Naruto: Uh, ok! (Sakrua pulls Naruto by his hand and drags him through the crowd.)

Sakura: Naruto let?s go!

Naruto: Ok, ok, ok! Just don?t grip my hand so tightly!

(Through the crowd, people are glad to see Naruto.)

Some kid: Hey mama, it?s Naruto!

Some man: Naruto, how ya doin man?

Some woman: Hey, over here! You?ve come to see Lady Tsunade too!

(While continuously being dragged through the crowd, Naruto still tries to wave back.)

Naruto: Oh umm? Hi ALL! (Sakura squeezes his arm tighter.) OUCH!

Sakura: There?s no time for this Naruto! (While being pulled through the crowd by Sakura, the rookies can be seen among the crowd standing with their clansmen with the exception of Shikamaru. Both Naruto and Sakrua notices that Kotetsu and Izumo [they don?t notice Naruto and Sakura arriving though] are there standing guard in front of the door? )

Izumo: I think my vocals are going to give out? Can you handle this one?

Kotetsu: Fine? LISTEN UP EVERYONE! LADY TSUNADE NEEDS HER REST! WILL YOU ALL QUIET DOWN!

(As Naruto and Sakura reaches the door, she let?s Naruto go, and Naruto falls to the ground?)

Naruto: Sakrua, jeesh!

Sakura: C?mon, you have to let us see Tsuande Sama?

Kotetsu: Ahh, if it isn?t Naruto?

Izumo: Actually, the Lady has been waiting for you two.

(Sakrua tears up.)

Sakrua: Really? LET?s GO NARUTO! (She grabs Naruto?s arm again.)

Naruto (in thought): Not again? (Dragging Naruto, Sakura bursts into the door. Shizune, Shikamaru, and the unnamed medical ninja are present.)

Shikamaru: Gosh you?re late? Don?t bother running her ears off, I already told her everything that?s going on.

(Sakura starts to cry, she starts wiping her face.)

Sakura: Master, I, I?

Naruto: Granny? (Slight tear up.)

Tsunade: Going by your faces, you two make it seem like I?m still in a coma. (Sakura looks really pathetic, snot running from her nose, tears flowing like a river, and she?s biting her lip to stop herself from moaning.)

Sakrua: *Sob.*

(Shizune has a rest assured face on? Shikamaru looks annoyed yet looks somewhat joyful?)

(Daimyo scene)
Daimyo: So tsunade's awaken from her coma,at last!
Kakashi: If Tsunade-Sama is out of her coma,shouldn't be re-assigned to the Hokage post?
Homura: But Tsunade wasn't able to protect the village from Akatsuki's infiltration,she is of no use as Hokage.
(Kakashi looks at Homura with a distressed look)
Daimyo: True,Tsunade didn't fulfill her job as a Hokage when she was needed the most,so I hereby appoint you,Hatake Kakashi as Hokage!
(Kakashi looks down)
Kakashi: Fine,I accept!
Daimyo: This meeting is hereby adjourned.Return to Konoha to prepare for war at once!
Kakashi: Right.

(Naruto scene)
Naruto: Aaaaah,haven't had a nice meal like this in a long time.
(Naruto hears some villagers talking while running)
Villager #1: Did you hear?Tsunade-Sama's finally awoke!
Villager #2: Really!?Let's hurry over then!
(Naruto's face warms up and starts smiling)
Naruto: So granny woke up,eh.Let's go see her.

(Kakashi scene)
(Kakashi is outside Tsunade's tent.He enters the tent,and finds Tsunade lying down with her eyes closed)
Kakashi: She must be sleeping.I'll come back later.
(Kakashi is about to exit the tent)
Tsunade: I slept enough,come in,i'am awake.
Kakashi: I came to tell you something Tsuande.
Tsunade: What is it!?
Kakashi: The Fire country appointed me as Hokage.
Tsunade: Congratulations!
Kakashi: But i didn't want to take your seat without your permission.
Tsunade: Don't worry about it.I was getting tired of that boring paperwork anyway.
Kakashi: I'am glad your okay with it.I should let you have some rest.
(Kakashi walks out)
(Tsunade in thought) : So i'am finally free.

(Sasuke scene)
(Sasuke's eyes are fully red,with Itachi's Mangekyou in the middle)
Sasuke: Madara!
Madara: What is it!?
Sasuke: I'am going to fight Naruto now!
Madara: Hold on sasuke,now's not the time.Itachi's eyes have just been transplanted to.....
(Madara is cut off)
Sasuke: I SAID NOW!I can kill him now!
Madara: Fine,just don't blame me if you find yourself losing.
Sasuke: I won't lose!
(Zetsu looks at Madara with a worried look on his face)
(Madara grabs Sasuke and warps)

Tsunade:naruto i have already been informed of whats been happening and if what shika maru tells me is true you'll all need to prepare and train and become stronger we don't have much time..shizune bring the forbidden scrolls and givr them to kakashi..kakashi and yamato i'll leave the rest up to you
Kakashi:i promise we wont fail you(kakashi notice the serious look on naruto's face)

(The scene is the Daimyo meeting)

Daimyo: Ah, well erm we can't have two hokages, can we?

Homura: Even if she's awake she can't be in any condition to lead us into war.

Daimyo: That is a good point.

Kakashi: Um, may I point out that we don't know what condition she's in, she is Tsunade after all.

Scene change to Tsunade

Shizune (crying): Tsunade-sama!!!! I never thought...

Sakura runs in.

Sakura (crying) : Sensei! I just heard. We , we thought you'd never wake up.

Tsunade: Well, I guess you were wrong. Now tell me what I've missed.

Sakura and Shizune try to talk to Tsunade by they keep bursting into tears.

Tsunade (thinking) : I guess better get Kakashi.

All of a sudden there's a commotion. Naruto barges in, he's pissed.

Naruto: Tsunade-ba, I heard you were awake! Make this weirdo stop following me!

Sakura punches Naruto.

Sakura: Be more sensetive!

Tsunade: No, its alright, Naruto I wanted to see you. Thank you, for saving the village.

Naruto: Its no problem, I'll do it anytime.

Tsunade: Jirayia would have been so proud.

Naruto: Yeah, and my father too.

Tsunade: Your... father?

Naruto: Yeah, I'll tell you about it later. First, get this crazy person away from me.

Tsunade: Who are you talking about?

A voice: Hey, let go of me!
Shikamaru walks in, he's holding Karin.

Shikamaru: Should you be spying on the hokage?

Naruto (pointing at Karin) : Its her! Stop following me!

Sakura: She was traveling with Sasuke, she left him and came back to Konoha with us, Sensei?

Tsunade seems to have gone white. She has a flashback.

Tsunade wakes up in the tent, its night and no one seems to be around.

Tsunade: What happened?

A voice: So she awakes...

The voice laughs.

Tsunade: I know that laugh, but how, is it you Oro-?

Kabuto steps into view.

Kabuto: I guess you're still a bit addled.

Tsunade: You! I thought I sent someone to kill you.

Kabuto: Your condition is serious, you should be dead. Fortunately I was able to give you temporary treatment. Enough to awaken and live long enough to do my bidding.

Kabuto: That's not really one condition..

Tsunade: You'd be amazed how hard I can make your life in a few days.

Tsunade (to Karin): That's okay with you right?

Karin: Um, I guess. Those guys might be looking for me.

Shizune: Tsunade-sama, aren't you rushing a bit, I mean shouldn't you send a chunin or jounin with them.

Tsunade: Yeah. Shikamaru you're going too.

Shikamaru: But I came here for something else..

Tsunade: One more thing, I'm going to prepare a scroll. You're to meet a jounin in the field. The scroll will order her to suspend her mission and join yours.

Shikamaru: Her? Another girl?

Tsunade: Actually a kunoichi who has experience with Orochimaru and his men.

Karin (thinking): Who could she be talking about?

Naruto: What are you doing? Write that scroll. I need to complete this mission as fast as possible!

Sakura (wearily): Naruto....

No! This reminds me of the fight between Sasuke and Danzo when Itachi appeared at the end of the episode and then there was the long break. We all thought Itachi was alive! But in the very next episode we saw that it was just an illusion and our hearts were broken.

This part of my post is directed at the People who believe Sasuke’s Eien no Mangekyou made him instantly godly.

The Sharingan is the Uchiha clan’s Kekkei Genkai respectfully and it so happens that they are able to further advance them through combat/killing a close friend - relative, emotional pain and or stealing/receiving another member's eyes.

If Sasuke did in fact receive Eien no Mangekyou it isn't like he would be instantly godly with it and know every single detail about it, he would be good but only through battling/training could he perfectly perfect its usage. The Uchiha alongside the Senju clan obviously trained to master their skills whether it was through actual training or through battle so it wasn't like they just received their power and didn’t ever need to train. The two clans both held the top tier status by perfecting their skills meaning that they must have practiced a lot, no? I do admit the Uchiha are granted extremely powerful Doujutsu but they must pay a price which is having to kill one another or go through emotional stress. Everyone else has to go through hard labor to receive their skills but you should keep in mind that only through actual labor are the Uchiha then able to master theirs as well.​

IMO, the recent powerup proved its justification. I think being an Uchiha, there's a high expectancy of a main antagonist like Sasuke getting the EMS.

Although, otoh, I will respect both opinions of powerups in general.

There is a standpoint that such powerups are necessary, and it's more of a culture in shonnen manga (correct me if I'm wrong).

There's another standpoint that powerups are too much, and it really doesn't seem to fit. I guess this was evident during the start of the kage summit, when Sasuke had lots of bouts which revealed his powerups one by one.

We are looking on the two sides of the story, the protagonist's and the antagonist's power levels. It's like sometimes they do meet up, other times they don't (like one is better than the other). Thus, there are opposing views. And, such views doesn't really depend on the race whatsover. I, too, didn't see anything racist on the previous comment and other comments for that matter. It's just a difference in terms of perspective.

TBH, there is no resolve to this. And, I think it's unfair for people who disagree not to read the manga. I believe people like them appreciate the manga as a whole, yet does not agree on some parts of it.

I give respect on both POVs, whether I agree or disagree with it. Only indifference will stop a person from reading the manga.

I really want Naruto to have a one on one with Tsunade about his father, he's yet to speak of him to anyone. There's was a page where Kakashi asked Naruto about what his father told him but that was it. I believe Tsuande should know more about Naruto's dad than Kakashi.

Naruto once again needs to trained since he's been left behind again now that Sauske has EMS. I hope Tsunade speaks with Naruto about his dad, maybe now that Jiraya is dead, Tsuande might reveal something to Naruto since Jman cant tell him anymore since he's dead. Maybe something about a jutsu or something power up. Really cant wait til next chapter...

Hinata was in the background in this chapter. I agree that there needs to be a conversation between Naruto and Hinata, but I feel that Naruto is avoiding speaking to her, not because he doesn't care, but, with the resolve he now seems to have to die with Sasuke, to avoid hurting her. Naruto has never liked seeing Hinata hurt or upset, so I can see that being the case.

Also, I've been thinking a lot about Itachi's gift. I'm very interested to see what it ends up being. I have a few ideas...For one, I have long thought that, despite his blindness, Itachi had the truest "sight" of any character in the manga. He seems to have had an insane foreknowledge of what was to come...he almost exactly predicted what Sasuke would decide following his death, almost to the point that it seemed more than just a guess. A friend pointed out that it might be possible, considering the many associations between blindness and seers, that with the blindness brought on by Mangekyo sharingan comes a sort of foresight - and sharingan has been described in such terms before. By taking Itachi's eyes and regaining his sight, Sasuke has given up this foresight. However, Naruto has gained this foresight from Itachi - and this is how he seems to know so much about what is going on right now. Just a thought about what Itachi's gift might be.

No! This reminds me of the fight between Sasuke and Danzo when Itachi appeared at the end of the episode and then there was the long break. We all thought Itachi was alive! But in the very next episode we saw that it was just an illusion and our hearts were broken.

during and after the encounter with danzou, sasuke attacked karin and sakura. i think this was because he EXPECTED zetsu to be watching and needed to keep up the facade. i think it's possible that karin told sasuke, off panel, that she sensed 2 chakra sources and one huge chakra source behind them and gaining.

i think sasuke assumed the huge chakra source was naruto, though i'm not sure he could've guessed the other 2. in any case, with the info that karin had told him he was able to time his attack at karin with the arrival of the first 2 chakra sources. that way karin could get away and the spying zetsu would see that sasuke wasn't holding back.

i think sasuke timed his attack on sakura with the arrival of naruto... so naruto could stop him from killing her. again, sasuke maintains his facade in front of zetsu and sakura isn't hurt.

I totally understand that this is your opinion but I don?t necessarily agree with it. Naruto himself stated that he could have easily been in Sasuke?s position, which meant that if certain factors played out differently he himself would have been out for Konohagakure?s destruction. Iruka was there for Naruto and provided him with a shoulder to lean on during the times of crisis he had during his childhood. Naruto is merely trying to do what Iruka did for him with Sasuke ? change all of his hate into something else. Gaara also tried to kill Sakura and plotted with his village to bring destruction to Konohagakure and Naruto may have been angry/hated him at the time but I believe if Naruto personally knew him then he would have attempted to help/change him. Sasuke is an entirely different case for Naruto ? he sees him as a brother and he was also his first real ?bond?. If you had a brother who was confused and angry your country and acted out on irrational decisions would you stop caring for him/abandon him? Naruto is playing the compassionate brother role and I don?t see how it is so ?nonsensical?. Just as you see things from your side there are others who view things from an opposite standpoint.


I?m a westerner and I didn?t consider his statement an insult. Again, it is a matter of personal interpretation and doesn?t necessarily mean he intended it as such.

There could be a silver lining behind whatever Sasuke is doing right now. Perhaps, the manga may have an Itachi twist to it.

Although, I'm still betting that Sasuke's really literally against konoha, and he really means whatever he's doing right now.

Anyway, i guess that next time we get to see Naruto eating ramen and Hinata arrives and ask about how he`s feeling, and they have a talk. Sasuke`s EMS will be revealed, and Madara makes his move to get the Rinnegan for himself. Because Sasuke with the EMS and Madara with the Rinnegan and half EMS would be a dangerous team.
We will see Kakashi, Tsunade, the feudal lord, the elders, and so on deside the Hokage question, and talks about the alliance and about Danzou and root.
We will probably get some funny moments with Yamato, and perhaps next chapter or the one after we get to see Anko and Kabumaru, and Jugo and Suigetsu.

If i don`t remember incorrectly, Kakashi got one of the FTG knife that Minato gave to him during "Kakashi Gaiden", so we will probably see some of that sooner or later when Naruto starts training again and maybe the frog with the key that Jiraiya was talking with during his invation on Pain`s village will help Naruto cooperate with the Kyuubi.

Although when people say something like Kishi's in love with Sasuke or This character just pulled his jutsu from his/her arse, I think they just meant sort of a funny yet sarcastic comment. I think it's unavoidable since I don't think this forum is meant as sort of a very formal panel discussion.

Not that I'm for those who are overreacting til now coz it's really kind of absurd IMO, but I guess it's just normal to see complaints only because Sasuke is the antagonist, and most are angry with the villain. So, anything that's positive gained by the villain irks them. I, also was kind of irked at some point during Sasuke's bouts-in-a-row on the Kage Summit arc, but eventually just got the hang of it and I'm liking what's happening right now (inclu Sasuke getting the EMS).

Knowing Kakashi, I also have a feeling that he'll turn down the position as Tsunade is already conscious, unless the lady insistently resists so. I agree that it's also possible to for him to fill in Danzo's position.

THANKS!!! and yours is certainly a possibility! sasuke may not plan on living but i think he'll die a hero of kohona. i think he'll sacrafice himself to save naruto and/or the village. then he'd restore the uchiha name, which is one of his goals, though the clan would be officially wiped out. naruto would see to it that the uchiha name has a place of honor in the kohona history books.

Thanks! and here's to a bloody nose lol i can't help but hold out hope for sasuke and i promise i am a non-bias reader. i'm not hoping for sasuke because i'm a fanboy. i just think it would be a cool twist to what is already a story i throughly enjoy if sasuke ended up pulling an "itachi" of sorts. but the stage is certainly set to go either way.
