but due to being retconned as a Kamui/Raikiri spammer he lacks feat in base to go against an Akatsuki member bar few

What does Sharingan pre-cognition have anything to do with shooting out ranged jutsu?

Sharingan pre-cognition only comes to play with Raikiri usage and overall CQC techniques. It has no bearing on his ability to cast jutsu, thus mentioning it is completely irrelevant when we're talking about casting any jutsu he already knows.

I am not sure myself. Kakashi only had a chance when he had the sharingan. Even than the speed of Lee would be a bit too much for him. There is a reason why I always wanted to see Might Gai vs Kakashi. I always wondered how he would fare against a gated opponent.

I agree and kakashi without sharingan is just not match for Lee. He wouldn't even react as quickly as having the sharingan.

Might Gai Vs Kakashi is a complete rekt, did you noticed how madara looked after Gai opened 8 gates? Thanks to the juubi he survived those solo combos from might guy.

Kishi shat on his character, badly. Not only with the Kamui spammage, but taking away his sharingan as well.

I expected Kakashi to showcase some more awesome techniques and more feats in the War, elemental or Yin/Yang, and show why he was hyped up so much througout the manga. Instead, all we got was Kamui, and the only new technique he used was Lightning Chain, which was cool, but I thought he was going to show more.

Not to mention that any competition that Kakashi and Gai had was absolutely rent asunder the moment Gai opened Kyōmon. These two were supposed to be on par with each other.

If I were Kishi, I would have given him some S/T technique that assimilates raiton nature manipulation. Something hax that would at least put him on par with 7th Gate Gai. Not some stupid boring ass half second teleportation.

Decent thread though. Unfortunately, Kakashi needs the sharingan with his current skillset to be a threat against the stronger shinobi in the manga.

Sharingan boosts his reflexes; it helps him land CQC moves effectively (Raikiri), and helps him dodge CQC moves. Sharingan pre-cognition has absolutely zero effect on his ability to actually cast a jutsu.

Kakashi, Sharingan or no Sharingan, can cast a Suiton Dragon all the same.

I responded by stating that Kakashi has ranged jutsu that can allow him to hit an airborne target.

Yeah I saw that. I think Kakashi with double kamui would be a great match up for him. Honestly if there was ever a dream match I wanted to see. Than It would have to be 8 Gated Gai Vs double kamui Kakashi. This would be a deadly match up. Like honestly these two had potential of being great match ups.

His fight with Obito by the way was a disappointment. It looked lazy to me by Kishi.
