Well, that is true, but I usually prefer horror/mystery Seinen manga which is more psychological than action, something that can make me think. AgK, while entertaining, doesn't have much depth, it lacks subtlety, and it killed off too many characters without giving them a chance for development. I just have different ways of enjoying manga, kind of like when you find a song to be catchy but don't get too emotional over it, versus a song you can even cry over.

Well it was never meant to be a psychological masterpiece. I can say a 90% of the people who spit on the manga don't like it because they expected wrong things from it. It was a dark fantasy action shonen manga. Never a brain cracker and it will never be one.

In AgK? Most of them don't get the time to improve as they die too fast :| We only see Tatsumi actually progressing and Esdeath developing new techniques.
