Gaara's actually a good counter for the Uchihas. His sand can cover his eyes and prevent genjutsu, he can create more eyes from sand to do his seeing for him and presumably get rid of them as soon as they're caught in genjutsu, he countered Madara's Susanoo, and he countered MS Sasuke's Amaterasu. Outside of MS jutsu, not much in Sasuke's arsenal can get to him, and Itachi has even fewer attacks outside of MS jutsu. Gaara mid-diffs both.
Gaara wins this
--sasukes defense and offense are counterd by him gettting taken out of susanoo, allowing gaara to finish him off quite effectively,
--amaterasu is countered by sand armor, whilst entons are blocked by his defense,
--susanoos arrow trajectory can be either changed or they are just tanked by his defense,
--genjutsu is also not happeening, not with third eye, sand clones and gaaras long range combat in the picture

Susanoo arrows plows clean through his flemsy sand shield especially since he sand wont get big enough in time to block also sasuke can use multiply at a time kakashi who has much better reaction feats than gaara could not move a muslce amaterasu 1 shots him aswell spawn sand is to slow flight is useless via hawk Sasuke ration varients piece clean throug his sand then its Kirin GG Sasuke just overwhelms him.
Itachi lacks ration something a fast a susanoo arrow and kirin plus flight witch a gives sasuke the win Gaara > Itachi once gets to far

this is war arc Gaara not the last gaara so thats irrelevant anyways when was it keeping up with amaterasu and i swore for god if you post the enton scan

Alright, then Gaara's sand was blocking the Raikage's attacks. [EDIT: You can also see it blocking Amaterasu here.]

Enton is the manipulation of Amaterasu. The black flames aren't any faster with or without Enton.

Sand armor is about as thin as a piece of paper amaterasu engulfs his hole front

1 Raikage was free falling
2 he shot enton up at gaara in there's a huge speed difference why because you can dodge enton just by moving out of the way you need to block or dodge sasuke's line of sight to dodge amaterasu witch gaara cannot do in time

The Raikage was aiming to attack Sasuke, using a certain move called Guillotine Drop. Gaara's sand blocks Sasuke's line of sight, and easily counters Amaterasu, like it does most attacks Gaara's faced with.

based on what gaara sand is not fast enough to counter amaterasu and if gaara is blocking sasuke LOS he cannot see sasuke susanoo arrows ends him then
