Well, transforming into water or a similar liquid substance would be rather unwise. The jutsu works so effectively because the sound waves propagates faster through liquids than gases. The wave itself travels through water molecules of the body's tissue, making a shockwave like effect, similar to what the Gyojin are able to produce. Against a liquid, I'd assume the damage would be slightly worse though, a bigger "blast" so to speak, though not to the point where significantly more damage is done, unless they were completely water, like through the usage of Water Replacement. The damage might be increased like +20 or so there. You charge at the opponent with a sound infused limb (low frequency/high ampiltude). This sound is released upon physical contact with an opponent to release sonic vibrations. The vibrations work in such a way that it 'paralyzes' the tissues of the opponent at the area struct by the sound infused assault. The vibrations damage the soft tissues by traveling through the water molecules present in them. I think it is similar to the CFS i made, the one where it repels the opponent. I think it works great with taijutsu because of its paralyzing factor. Rendering a limb useless is really an advantage in a CQC fight. Best way to use it, i would say, is attacking the opponent with it and aiming it at a vulnerable area. I would say the neck and travel behind them to attack where they can't see you, or the left arm and attack his left arm, or maneuver to his left where he can't defend adequately. I would also use it on legs and attempt to defeat them with speed.
Whatever it is weak to, i would say, is if the enemy transforms their body into another substance like water or marshmallows, which obviously, would make the sound useless. I honestly dont know what else it is weak too...
I have questions though. How does it react with water? like, if the opponent uses water replacement, what would happen? How big of an area is rendered useless? like, if i hit the arm, would the entire arm be unusable or just the area struct. Also, this is restricted to limbs right, not internal organs? (im talking about the effects)
Lastly, lol, can this be used through multiple limbs? like distributing the power amongst each strike? if so, that would be rlly cool lol
You alter the environment. It's made to be used on the terrain. For example, in Konoha, it would be very useful to make branches sound if they snapped, falling from the sky onto the victim. In Iwa, where trees are sparse, it's best to make the earth under them crack, making them believe they have fallen through the earth. In Suna, it can make it sound as if the earth has also cracked open under the foe, but this sound would sound different as it would be muffled by all of the sand present. This wouldn't be very effective on water surfaces though.Induced by a simple snap, the high frequency is amplified to make it seem like the snapping sound the fingers created is right near the opponent. The two specific illusions accompanied with the snap comes from below and above. The opponent is made to believe that a branch or a tree nearby snaps in half and falls to them, which pounds them into the earth, i believe (correct me if i'm wrong. Not 'pound', but forces them into the earth which would result in essentially the same thing as the second usage) Going into the second usage, the opponent would think that the ground splits in half and they are left falling between it. Now, it is useful because of how versatile it is. You are able to manipulate it to a certain extent. You can change the thing snapping depending on the environment. For example, a cliff; the part of the cliff hanging out would 'snap in half' and fall to the opponent to push them down to the ground. It's very useful and powerful
Three questions: You know how it allows you to somewhat alter the illusion like how the branch is falling? can you alter the illusion that splits the ground in half? Does this work on summonings... I mean can you make them believe their summonings split in half and is falling to them? lol also, when they are pushed to the earth, i assume that would mean they are paralyzed, or at least restricted in movement, depending on the size of the object you chose z_z

It affects the targeted area; If I channel my finger tips with this and strike your forearm, it would blast it backwards and damage the entire forearm and make the upper arm less effective as well, slowed shoulder joint movement for example. The effect is capable of effecting any soft tissue areas of the body ( arms, leg, stomach, side, neck, etc ). I'd say that no, it can't be used through multiple attacks as it's description only mentions one attack. I once had the idea to make a Sound based Taijutsu on this, similar to Ty Lee's style of fighting on Avatar, attacking pressure points and joints with fingertips and using Sound chakra to disrupt how their body operates, and limit their overall movements by localized paralyzation and tissue damage.
