Amaterasu didn't overtake shit until it became the size of said Katon. A small fireball isn't going to do shit to a large fireball, don't care what kind of flame it is. Firing a speck of Enton into a sea of Katon isn't going to do anything, at all. Same principle here. Unless he can make an Amaterasu large enough to consume Madara's Katon, it's nothing but a moot effort.

His hawk doesn't help him if Madara fires it straight upward, Aoda gets burnt over and over again till it leaves or till it's summoning time runs out.

Agreed on the hawk. Aoda sheds its skin in barrow into the ground where his katon would be useless now Madara using his katon and Sasuke using amaterasu kirin comes almost instant then its gg.

Aoda actually has to be able to burrow completely underground before the Katon hits, and considering the distance will be mid ranged at best since no one really has any large scaled jutsu, you can forget about him evading it like that. Releasing Katon means little unless they are being shot into the atmosphere. To prep Kirin, Sasuke needed a mini forest of Amaterasu to sit there, and it's extreme heat rose to the atmosphere, which heated up, and he needed a giant Dragon Flame to be shot directly into the atmosphere. Madara's Katon is only active for a few seconds, and it's nowhere near as hot as Amaterasu, so Madara using Katon barely contributes to Kirin. Sasuke will have to shoot it up into the air, but if he's busy spamming dozens of Katon into the air, he gets taken out by Madara.

If Aoda attacks from below, and Sasuke attacks from above, Madara either jumps up, clashes with and overpowers Sasuke, or he Shunshin's to the side and evades both of them.

Gunbai takes in the attack, and then redirects it. That's exactly what happened to Naruto. What you said doesn't even make sense. It doesn't repel the attack, and then turn it back on the opponent, shit means the same thing. It absorbs (Hence Naruto's attack vanishing) and then it converts it to wind, and redirects it.

And yes, it's wind. Go read the Databook.

What it was at the start is irrelevant. It didn't consume the fire until it actually covered it completely, and Sasuke has NOT shown to make an Amaterasu that large, nor will it get that large on it's own, nor have you done anything to prove that it will.

-Itachi didn't make that Amaterasu with his own chakra, he lit some nearby trees on fire and the fire spread throughout the area.

-Amaterasu isn't going to burn the whole of the Katon unless it is larger than the Katon, and Sasuke can't produce one that large, so his efforts are useless.
