I think you could quite possibly be correct. It seems almost exactly the same. And I think it makes perfect sense for Zetsu to have set those traps. I hadn't even thought of that link to this revelation of Zetsu's abilities. Zetsu just gets more and more awesome doesn't he?
here is my long term prediction...
Kisame succeed's in capturing killer bee and they extract the 8 tails from him...
then later Akatsuki invades Konoha...and naruto takes on sasuke, (we all know that anyways)...
Kakashi takes on Madara and thats when we finally get the answers to all of the secrets of madara...(although i think he will kill kakashi in the fight)
Zetsu, i have no idea about at all...
and the main one i want to talk about, would be Kisame vs Gai...
I think that there are two endings to the Kisame vs Gai fight...
first it would be that team guy first starts out fighting Kisame, and Gai tells them to retreat...and he takes him on one on one, and the fight goes on with kisame absorbing everything he uses, possibly even making gai use ninjutsu, and it will end with guy sacrificing himself opening all 8 gates and defeating Kisame, then having one last heart to heart with Lee...
OR...
Kisame defeats and kills gai, enraging Lee, and having lee take on Kisame, and having kisame freak out because Samehada can't absorb any chakra from Lee, because he only uses Taijutsu, and having lee avenge gai by defeating Kisame, and finally proving to all that he has became an Honorable ninja, with only taijutsu...
of course, that is just my prediction...at least what i want to happen...i didn't want to get into the whole naruto vs sasuke thing because everyone else has a million predictions about it...

Amazing chapter probably the best chapter this year.Kabuto is back and i like his new snake look and it is going to be interesting to see him battling a high level ninja.Kisame lives which shows that akatsuki are brilliant when it comes to having a strategy, and kisame is probbaly more than just his big powerful sword.Sauske takes itachis eyes,which we knewbut cool that it will happen so soon.Again this will be a perfect opportunity for naruto to train while people a preparing for the ninja war. And sakuras poison was as weak as her, and she admited herself that she is always in the way.Kinda think kishi ruined her character after the sasori fight, he could have easily made her as strong as the other members in team 7.She did train with the fifth hokage for several years so it would have been reasonable but no she ended up being a waste of space. 5/5
It seem's so, but the only thing is that the clones were said by madara to be weak...thats why Kisame only changed places in a very strategic moment...
unless black Zetsu is the fighter and White zetsu is the replicator...and together they can make perfect replica's that can fight...i don't think that the clones would have been strong enough...
but it seems to be something along those lines...

I don't think the clones being weak is necessarily a negation. It is not necessarily exactly the same technique, just one which is similar, and thus likely also cast by zetsu. The clones Team Gai fought were not particularly strong, just perfect copies of themselves at the moment they were created, which is why they had such a hard time defeating them.
It is also possible that White Zetsu and Black Zetsu working together make stronger clones, and that is why the clone of Kisame is weaker.
In any case, I still think it highly likely that jutsu was cast by Zetsu in some way shape or form.

well the only problem wit that is that sasuke cant c or use ms. sasuke definitely cant kill naruto without his ms or sight for that matter.

sorry to have to correct u but bee fought kisame up until the point where he used the ink. right b4 bee did that it was all kisame. check it out. he said it was hard to change with kisame under water which to me means that he didn't switch with kisame til he was under water.

I enjoyed reading ur prediction...
especially with the guy dying part. Of course either guy or lee is going to destroy kisame. its only natural. it would be ridiculous to see guy use some ninjustsu for once. and also i would like to see everyone in konoha undergo intense training and get alot stronger than they are now.and for some reason i dont see kakashi dying in the invasion (unless the invasion is the last thing of the manga) then in which case it would make sense, being that he dies and naruto becomes hokage. but if its not the end of the manga, i dont see him dying. i can see him almost dying and then sakura rescues him by sacrificing herself. (that may be a little bias thinking lol) i really do think that if anyone from the leaf is going to die, its gonna b her. she got cut too many breaks, naruto and kakashi cant be here forever ya kno
This is totally a great chapter. Not a single page has been wasted. Finally, Sasuke wants to take the eyes of Itachi, which is very exciting and well-predicted by some of you guys here in the base. I'm glad that the poison lasted until Madara's crew went off. If not, Naruto might had been such an idiot,just as he always do, which is also fun. Sakura too, realized. I'm happy Kisame is alive and amazed by Zetsu's freaky abilities, that would make him a tough opponent,soon. Kabuto (The Evil Harry Potter) was just also great. I hope Orochimaro will consume kabuto's body. Finally, The 4th ninja world war is yet to come. I just can't wait for the next episodes. This chapter deserves more than 5. =)

i really want the kisame v. gai fight to happen. i think that the second of ur two opinons would b the most pleasing to me just bcuz i really like lee n i think its time he gets that respect that he had been lookin for from the village. then mayb they will make him a jonin like neji.

But i do reckon Kisame is the to kill the raikage and get zetus to make a clone of the raikage . . .
