Alright. Firstly, notice the mask in the photo. Masks have been the most prominent symbol of Persona as far back as P1. See the light/dark duality? That's representing Philemon and Nyarlathotep. This may just be a nod to them as usual, but it might also signify their return.

The top hat seems trivial, but I think it's significant. Since we know the main theme of P5 is "breaking free", the top hat might relate to the main villain of the game, who is the "pupeteer", pulling the strings of the slaves to society, like a ventriloquist in a magic show, if you get what I mean.

Or this is all a clever way of saying that Tuxedo Mask is the final villain.

As for "take your heart", it probably has to do with the main theme of the game again. People have their hearts taken by ignorance to fit into society, or something like that.

I guess that's why they have the whole “The Phantom” in that news article I showed. Interesting theory tho. :)

Oh, oops. I fixed it >.>.

Just checked the article, seems interesting. They're going to have a concert as a lead-in to the game reveal? Maybe they're going for the classic "phantom of the opera" vibe? Hmm.

By the way, that "top 25" song list was... well I can't describe what it was, because this is a family forum. I'll be posting the real, Magatsu-approved version sometime soon, which won't have mistakes such as Long Way being ranked below Deep Breath, which listening to is equivalent to pouring acid down my ears.

Either way, schedule updated. Could anyone fill me in on the ''???'' segments so I can add those to the list?

At least Persona 5 is getting closer.

I definitely enjoy the Opening Theme they've showed. It's got a mix of the first opening from P4, while expanding upon it.

YAAASSSS The first song of the live concert is Dancing All Night OP Live.
Second song is Ultimax opening? All. The. Hype.
Third one probably isn't hard to guess considering the pattern.

So, when are we getting Persona 4 Mario Kart? Persona 4 Tennis? ...Persona 4 Tetris?

Persona 5 looks absolutely f*cking beautiful.

I have absolutely no words. Just, no words...

There was even a thing resembling Nyarlathotep at 1:00. I guess Magatsu has something to freak out over.

The comments of that video say the same thing.

They went with the artstyle they used in Catherine, apparently. And it looks..absolutely...beautiful...

Just a second, I'm going to repeat it for the fifth time.

The day Persona 5 will be released shall be glorious...The best part is that the main character seemed very calm and innocent in the first preview months ago. Atlus did an awesome job at making him a straight up badass.

Tokyo> Inaba and Tatsumi Port Island. The trailer confirmed Shibuya as an explorable destination.

I'm guessing Social Links have been re-branded as ''Cooperation'' with your fellow partners in crime. Although I heard Social Links are called ''Community'' in japan. Could be Cooperation will still be called Social Links here in the West. I prefer Cooperation, though.

Good thing the voice actors are confirmed to be different. I think The Phantom is voiced by Fukuyama, the same guy who voiced Lelouch in Code Geass.

For thoughs who are wondering, here's the translations for the P5 Ad info:

"We interrupt this program with a special news report. A character calling himself ‘The Phantom’ delivered a mysterious note to the Nippon Budokan, the arena in which the Persona Super Live event is scheduled to be held.

“Do you see this? This (image) was suddenly published in the morning edition of the newspaper. Authorities say there’s a high possibility that this is some kind of rebellious message. The investigation is continuing. The company that is holding the event, Atlus, is planning to go ahead with it (despite this warning). This concludes our breaking news report."

Some thoughts:

MC and friends aren't actually "criminals". They are rebelling against an authoritarian society/control, as shown in the trailer by the men in suits with earpieces. Sort of like Robin Hood, who stole from the rich to feed the poor.
