Just curious about the Nb community.

What's your mental disorder if you have one?

I have manic depression.

Edit: on poll question, yes I spelled disorder wrong. Also sorry if I missed any mental ilness.
I just used the most common ones. Also I missed APD(Anti-social personality) a common disorder.

you know, its not like humanity hasn't experienced these mental disorders before we were able to diagnose them, humanity has lived in spite of these so called disorders, what im saying is, your normal, im normal, everyone is normal, the options you just listed mine as well be the human psyche divided into different subjects, maybe you can rename the poll, what human psyche type does your mental conditioning lean you towards..or dont, you can always keep encouraging people to tell them selves, its not my fault, I have a disorder...but contrary to popular belief we do have a choice.

p.s something is only worth getting angry over, once you decide its worth getting angry over, what society says is worth doing isnt always worth doing. find out for your self, consider not following the social norm and experience growth for your self...avoid letting your past effect decisions you make in the present, and just as well avoid letting your future fears dictate decisions you make in the present.

I have a friend who has OCD, its amazing how clean his house is. I know that's not the only thing that people with OCD do.

Is that like extreme shyness?

Oh.
I wouldn't really call it shyness. It's an anxiety disorder; an inability to speak in certain settings. The person is normal in settings they are comfortable in but not in some others. Also very difficult to make eye contact. All this is due to the fear, we feel safer like this.

Personality disorders aren't very common, except maybe in prisons and psychiatric facilities. They only make up around 2% of general population.

Majority here would be self diagnosing or read webmd
I concur. Unless you've seen a psychiatrist or some other professional like me, you would just be self-diagnosing and that can lead to a lot of neurosis. Everyone meets some criteria for mental health disorders. Like a first year psychology major, you'd be thinking you suffer from everything.
