I would go on the trip, since it determines my job security. As much as I'd love to be present for the birth of my child, it's more important to have good job security so I can support my family. That's the most important thing.

If in a hospital bed sitting there pushing out HIS damn kid, you better believe I wouldn't be okay with it. If his job is that freaking cruel that his own child ain't important then f-ck that job, you find a better job because what's going to happen once they realize they got you to miss the birth of your own kid, they are going f-ck you right up the azz with other stuff.
"Sorry, can't make it to Little Johnny's birthday, important meeting"
"Sorry, can't make it to Little Johnny's graduaton, important meeting"
"Sorry can't make it to little Johnny's wedding, important meeting"
"Sorry, I couldn't make it to anything important to you, Johnny..."

That's a one-way road to divorce and kids who want nothing to do with you. If he is going to let that job grip him by the neck so bad, then.... I'll be at home waiting with the divorce papers. If that meeting ain't about saving the world for ultimate destruction, your azz better be there. I don't care if you died during my pregnancy, rise from the grave and COME TO YOUR CHILD'S BIRTH.

This is all good and dandy, but what happens when you lose your job for missing that meeting. F-ck your job yeah! Then you try to get another job in this job market, and now you're living off unemployment and check to check and barely able to eat. Your kids hungry and your wife is hungry, all because you had to be at a birth.

you will find another way because if you agree to put your job first before your family sake, you don't deserve a family to begin with and you should stay single and avoid having any kids.

a shitloads of people took care of their families during wars without food neither shelter and clearly no money and job, females had to do everything alone because males were protecting their countries.

your complaints are irrelevant: a job is not a freaking war, no valid emergency here, you can take a couple of hours to see your kid birth.

1. You don't derseve a family because you want to make sure your family is always eating? Ok Lol

2. Wars are neither here nor there.

3. Your complaints are irrelevant my friend. You can take a few hours to see your kid and spend a few years of not eating and struggling to make ends meet. How about that? Lol

Simple train of thought:

- If a guy is worthy he would want to witness his childbirth, but that does not mean he can get what he want. Imo if you can trust your partner enough you would not ask him to risk everything for a little time. A decent human being would be there if he could. Who would choose a businness trip over his baby? But it is not about choices all the times.

-If he is unworthy why bother? He can miss it and he would not deserve a flying ****.

seriously your kid can die, your woman can die, they can both die in a couple of minutes and you are telling me a freaking job is more important than them?

like you are not capable to organize yourself enough to not miss your own kid birth?
or to agree with your woman and the doctors to birth the kid a bit earlier if you are in the army and you cannot say no to your country for example?

you will miss an important event that will happen only once for a stupid freaking job?

just don't reproduce, Humanity don't deserve more crap, shitty parenting and children with issues Lol

there is always a way but you are not even trying to find it, so yep i say it again: you don't deserve a family.

Gods you're daft. Not everything happens how you want it to.

So you're saying you will starve, struggle, and potentially be homeless for years just for your significant other to watch the birth of your child. You're crazy.

I'm certain if your job depends on it, your significant other will understand that you just can't be there. The future is what is important. I want my child to go to college. I want my child to eat. I don't want my family to go hungry. I want my family to have a roof over their heads. I want to be able to buy my wife and child gifts. How am I gonna do all of that without a job? But f-ck a job right? At least I saw my wife give birth right? Lmao you're ridiculous. Lol

I got lucky my boys came a few weeks before I deployed but I thought I was gonna miss it. Tough call really comes down to the individual and what options you have if you lose your job. I personally had zero choice in the matter so I was bummed but as I said I got lucky.
