When I first read Naruto which was way back in 1999, I along with every reader didn't have the slightest clue who Naruto's parent's were. Then when Tsunade was introduced, over time some fans were speculating that she very well could have been Naruto's mother. That got quickly debunked when Kushina was introduced of course.

So now that the Naruto series is over (for now anyways), I wonder what the manga/anime would have been like had Tsunade been Naruto's mother instead of Kushina.
Here is a scenario I made:
For instance, just like how Mito Uzumaki had sealed Kurama (Nine-Tails) into Kushina, what if Mito would have chosen her grandaughter Tsunade instead and the Nine-Tails attack on the leaf village would have played out a bit different to where Tsunade survived the extraction of the Nine Tails and Minato would have died the same way he did in the actual manga/anime?
Shortly after, Tsunade would have left the village because she would have felt that she couldn't protect her son due to not being able to able to save/protect her loved ones in the past.
Then in Part I, after seeing her son Naruto, during the fight with Orochimaru and Kabuto, she would have overcome her fears a lot faster and after that she would have been reminded of who she left behind and would have felt deep regret over it.
Then later during the Pain Arc it would have been revealed that Tsunade was Naruto's mother during Naruto's battle with Pain.
And rather than Hinata coming in to save Naruto, it would have been Tsunade instead with Naruto asking her why she is doing going out of her way to fight Pain and begging her to stay out of the whole thing (Just like how Naruto did with Hinata in the actual manga and anime). Then it would shift to Tsunade giving her reasons along with a few flashbacks and finally confessing to Naruto that she is in fact his mother, shocking Naruto.
Post Pain Arc, it would shift to Naruto and Tsunade talking to each other with Tsunade tearing and apologizing for not being there for her son when he needed her. Then finally patching things up.
What do you all think of this? If Tsunade being Naruto's mother would have actually been in the manga/anime instead of Kushina being Naruto's mother, how do you all think the series would have panned out? Given the scenario I posted above?
Personally I think it would have been a major shocker and and also would've put an awesome spin on the Naruto series in general. And it would have been awesome to see it all pan out throughout the rest of the series. But that's just my stance on it however.
EDIT: I forgot to add a few things.
1. On the age part, she retains her youth, thus she would have and cold have been able to give birth to a child. Also, Tsunade was around 38-39 when Naruto was born. Pretty sure that's within the realm of realism. Finally on top of that, she's a Sannin and medical ninja. She no doubt would have given birth to Naruto without a problem.
2. Even though Tsunade was in bad shape during the invasion of Pain, I think she probably would have used the last bit of her chakra left to save Naruto from Pain since it would have been her son that she was trying to save.
3. I think that name Naruto Senju would have been pretty cool!
