Can Rock Lee rival Naruto/Sasuke one day?

It's clearly shown that Six Paths Chakra, Rinnegan and Senjutsu's weakness is Taijutsu, as seen with Madara and Kaguya.

Rock Lee without doubt has the potential to surpass Guy Sensei.

I think he has what it takes to rival Naruto and Sasuke, at least when he's an adult.

Though he may not have explosive maneuvers and extreme destructive techniques, he's a threat to anyone.

Well... one things for sure.

Everything Rock Lee has achieved has been based on his own hard work. He has recieved no hand-outs. No powerups given to him by an older brother.. or a bijuu. Or even a Sage.

Everything he has done has been based on him pushing himself and not giving up even when people would mock and taunt him for not having enough skill in Chakra Control, Ninjutsu or Genjutsu. Yet he trained and trained and trained and trained.

I'd honestly say that had he been given powerups like Naruto and Sasuke had been given, he'd probably have ended up being more powerful than either of them.

Lets remember... no one was able to come close to wrecking Rikudo Madara other than 8 Gates Might Gai. Even Sasuke and Naruto combined in Rikudo mode were less of a threat to him.

So it's fair to say (and fair on Rock Lee to say) he'd have been boss had he been given powerups equal to those given to Naruto and Sasuke. And lets not forget the Saki Wine either...

If if if..if itachi was healthy with rinnegan,if hashirama was a jinchuriki,IF...etc

Might guy only got so far because madara was "dancing"(playing around).if madara had used limbo,CT,meteors, PS the fight would have ended right there

And comparing the fight between team 7 and him is a moot point considering madara had dual rinnegan with the god tree absorbed

Rock Lee during the qar don't have enough power nor durability to open 7th gates probably like 50 times stronger then the normal body I think if Lee would have opens 7th gates to him it would be like the 8th gate.

And you know what....so is lee. I can not understand or get onaboard with this view that ppl have that going 8 gates is a win when you consider you are going to die no matter what happens in regards to the fight. i just dont get it and i never will, when you need a power up to fight someone else that will kill you to me thats not a win. I look at it this way does sasuke or naruto most powerful state or attacks put them in a postion that will no doubt kill them the way the 8 gate does. I believe a true win is a win in which you can go all out and live to tell the tale
