what if zetsu's ego was bruised a bit when tobi told him he's not a front line fighter? do you think when he finds 8-tails that he'd try to prove him wrong and fight him? i think 8-tails would win but i also think zetsu's spore attack that steals chakra would be an interesting fight for samehada and 8-tails. although raikage is with 8-tails so zetsu wouldn't really stand a chance against the 2 of them and he doesn't strike me as the stupid sort. we also don't know much about zetsu's fighting abilities... all we have is tobi's lack of confidence in him.

He said he was not a front line fighter. But we don't really know why yet... I would guess it would mean that he is too important to put on the front line rather than being unable to handle front-line fighting positions. Because out of all of the people in Akutski it seems that Madara was in contact with Zetsu most although now that doesn't mean much because Zetsu is like the only guy left if Kisame is dead for sure which it appeared to be. I would hope Raikage would be able to finish a opponent successfully... And as far as front line Zetsu was all up in the kage meeting on the front lines so it still makes me think that madara is just not willing to risk him for some reason or another.

well zetsu also counts as 2 ppl i think


wat if kisame planned to leave samehada as a devvice to track n keep an eye on 8 tails meaning he can also see wat samehada sees, maybe something rub off itachi. kisame s body is a fake. i just hope zetsu finds kisame n kisame says everything according to plan. (oh yeah n samehada will never betray kisame, it will probably atk n jack chakra from 8 tails then fly to samehada)

Just a friendly FYI the interview that had the 8 Tails attacking Konoha was confirmed as a fake as with most of the interviews.

I figured as much, I just thought I would still take it into account just in case. I honestly can't see a really viable reason why the 8 tails would invade Konoha, so I am glad it is a fake. I don't go looking for interviews, I just go by what I hear on this forum, so if someone claims something was said in an interview, I tend to respond as if it was true, just in case.

Ok everyone thinks killer bee should help naruto train to control ninetails. there are some reasons why that wont work!

1. In killer bee's example, 8 tails and him have a good teamwork going on like kb(killerbee) is like oh your my partner to help me fight and 8 tails is like helping him like not arguing. But naruto has terrible teamwork going on. Naruto is like i HATE you ninetails, you ruined my life! its all your fault everyone hates me Blah BLah! While ninetails is like I'm going to tear you to a trillion shred and stuff

2. If they wont cooperate willingly i dont think the 4th hokages seal thing can like MAKE 9 tails give him chakra. in other episodes ninetails gives him chakra mainly cuz he doesnt want to die. So Naruto will somehow make ninetails cooperate with him

Thats what i think! Ninetails is one of my fav characters but its obvious he is not going to go " Here naruto you can take advantage of me and use my power and stuff!" lol xd

i thought that it was an awesome chap. i dont kno that anyone has said anything but what did madara mean about getting the rinnegan? that was a curveball to me. Naruto has an interesting resolve to say that they will die together but i guess i could almost understand it(except for the dieing part).

It wasn't a bad chapter by any means. Although I'm not sure I like Naruto's answer. I mean I'm glad he manned up and is willing to fight Sasuke, but I don't know about the whole dying together thing. I mean he's sorta obsessed. (The Panel where Sasuke was like "what's wrong with you made me laugh though). Whatever though it was a good speech. Oh and Sakura cried, who woulda thought XD

exactly the First Hokage must have been someone really extremely powerful to beat Madara at his prime. So the question is how did the First deal with EMS and Madara's space time tech. That's something we don't know yet but I hope we get to see how Hashirama defeated Madara or Madara telling how was he defeated.

I think maybe Madara didn't have good planning skills and/or was too reckless with ninetail's power and underestiated the 1st but idk we will need to find out

I dunno about you guys but I thought Naruto was epic in this chapter. He straight out told Sasuke that if/when he attacked Konoha both of them would die. I especially loved Sasuke's reaction to his words. He was all wtf??

The chapter nicely set up what might be the climax of the series. The epic Naruto/Sasuke fight. It also seems there is a chance that Naruto might die. Except if Sasuke's redemption comes from the fact that he pulls his last punch and lets Naruto kill him.

I also think there was massive Naruto/Sakura foreshadowing in the chapter. Even more so because Sasuke has tried to kill Sakura twice in the previous two chapters. If that doesn't kill her love for him then nothing will. Lastly Kishi has always said that Sakura is the female lead of the series. Considering that Naruto is the main protagonist of the series it again points to Naruto/Sakura if Naruto survives in the end.

(P.s. - I'm still crossing my fingers for Naruto/Hinata)

I was not able to read all the posts, so I apologize if anyone else has posted this.

I've come to the conclusion that Naruto is not just showing guts when he says "The only person fighting Sasuke is me". There's something more to it: he hopes their fists will meet several times in order to try to communicate with Sasuke.

No other shinobi can do this, maybe because at least half of them won't even make fists meet during a battle. Besides, meeting fists will only be usefull with Naruto as he's the only person Sasuke listens to every now and then.

I would like to know if anyone agrees with me or not, and why.

There is truth in your post. Yet the Nine tails said itself that it hates the sharingan and though this might be the only reason for it to help Naruto it is a valid one. And I don't think that the tailed beast needs to give its chakra to the host, yesterday I was reviewing old chapters and I saw one where the Eight tails asked Killer Bee "Why did you summon me when you had the upper hand?"

And Killer Bee has stated that he can control his tailed beast, so why shouldn't Naruto be able to control the fox?

naruto has been said to have similarities to the senju so your theory doesnt seem plausible. Rinnegan and kyuubi would mean that naruto would effectively be the strongest character in the series no doubt.

EMS isnt the end of the world since the first hokage defeated madara with EMS, that shows that it is possible to do it without having any eye-techs.

u r right friend but naruto is not a senju bcz hes not a realitive of fifth . he dont have muktun no justsu . but who knows, he is powerfull now .

The 1st was a beast though. He is the only person in the Manga that I could imagine defeating EMS without having some type of MS. It would be kinda cool to see naruto with a rinnegan but it doesn't seem like something kishi would do because he usually makes naruto work for his power ups unless he finds a easier way to unlock it or if pain had given him his rinnegan (which still would have been kinda cool) I am still hoping naruto gets some kind of KG as he had worked for most of his power ups sans kyuubi.
