They were falling down slowly for effect. Obviously if it was the kissing scene they wouldn't be falling down full speed. I don't know what's in your head making you think that she now has the ability to fly. If you're going to theorize such things, please have some, at least, good evidence.

:bye:
I do, and I already presented it to you, bur rather than countering, all you've done is say they're falling really slowly.
so here it is again:

Look at them in these gifs, they’re right in the center of the moon, about a body’s distance away from each other, before they start gliding towards one another. Then look at them in the first and last, still in the same location.
Not only are they still in the same location for around 30 seconds at max, but it’s clear they’re not falling and are instead in-place due to Hinata’s hair gently flowing in the breeze, as opposed to what would happen to her hair if they were descending. Look at the snow falling downwards, and yet they’re still in place, for multiple seconds in a row with absolutely nothing showing or indicating or hinting at them falling or descending .
What kind of indication do you have for me to believe they were ‘falling very slowly’ ? Why are they falling very slowly to begin with? Why should I believe this when everything I pointed out goes against it and that we know they’re back on earth.
If it was slow motion, the snow wouldn’t be falling as it was, and if it was slow motion, Hinata would still have her hair flowing upwards. If it was slow motion, they would not have been in the exact same place for 30 seconds without even a shred of hint that they have moved even one inch downwards.
They’re not descending, as they are completely still, with no implication of downward movement whatsoever. Nor are they floating in space, as there is snow in that scene, showing that they’re in earth’s atmosphere. We also see Hinata move towards Naruto in mid air, showing she can fly without needing Naruto’s help.
Hinata didn't get anything new at The Last..... is the same situation as Chapter 699.
(She got a skill that looks the same with a different name, but the power cannot be compared to the previous one because she never got to hit anything with the one she used in the manga).
- Sakura is faster, smarter, has more Stamina and more chakra than the Hyuuga.
- She has a one-hit-kill move that can be used directly, as a distraction, and a way to prevent upcoming attacks by using it to the ground.
[*]Souzo Saisei and Byakugou provide her a way to counter Gentle fist, the Lion thingy and Air Palm...(pretty much all Hinata's arsenal).
- A great summon and other powerful accessories such us sleep gas bombs and poisoned kunais, which are unnecessary here.
Sakura wrecks all the way....
@Bold: Don't worry, nobody does....
Her seal could heal the damage Jyuuken would cause, sure, but once/if Hinata manages to close a few of her chakra points, she won't be able to use the seal or CEs properly at all.
I really don't, it's just that Hinata has no way to survive it from close to mid range distances, outside of bs and fanfics, of course.
Saying Air Palm is ALL she needs to take out Sakura, however, is wank.
A chunnin level Shinobi jumping away or using chakra to stay still is not fanfiction, it's simple logic.
As for Air Palm, yes, it could possible one-shot Sakura
Here's how:
It’s been evidenced that Sakura can’t take blunt force to the head, as shown when Kabuto’s butt knocked her out cold simply by knocking her head against the bridge. Hinata could replicate this with her Air Palm, easily blitzing her with it, mind you.
Neji’s basic Air Palm provided enough force from about 4 M away to send someone as heavy as Kisame flying, and he would not have stopped had he not had Samehada with him. Now image a rikudo-enhanced Air Palm being used on a much lighter opponent who has nothing to help stop her body from flying. results would be more devastating than what Hinata did to the Juubi’s hand
Thus, I conclude that a Hamura-Chakra Air Palm to Sakura’s body will send her flying and knock her head on a wall or other surface, thus it will render her unconscious, ergo making Hinata the victor.
Or Hinata could just smash her brains to bits w/ Air palm. And w/o a brain, the body can't function, including using chakra, so she dies since she can't heal her brain.
Don't remember any feats from hinata that suggests she can tangle with a kage-level fighter. Did she really do anything in the last other than fail to destroy the tenseigan by herself?
The only piece of evidence that I can think of for hinata actually winning would be naruto stating that she's strong on two occasions.
Sakura isn't a Kage level, let's not disgrace the other Kages by calling her as such. She's jonin level. Not even low Kage, as that would be something like Kakashi w/ sharingan.
As for what Hinata got in the last, she gained Hamura's chakra, in turn giving her stats a boost [+power, +speed] and granting her the ability to fly.
The only way Sakura isn't kage level is if tsunade isn't kage level because sakura can pretty much do everything tsunade can except better (and maybe healing others).
Tsunade is eons above her in so many ways, it's not even funny. She has better speed feats [blitzing Madara multiple times], better taijutsu feats [VS Orochimaru & Madara], more stamina [Senju/Uzumaki], more durability [See heavenly transfer technique], more chakra [Senju/uzumaki], experience [decades of it], natural strength as well as CES [as opposed to just CES], and has a VERY useful techniques Sakura lacks [body pathway derangement] .
Not to mention Hashirama inverse compared Yin Seal Sakura's strength to a 5 Year old Tsunade's, back when she was in the academy and hadn't developed the Yin Seal.
Does that count as Rikudo Chakra, though? Hagoromo is the Rikudo Sennin/Sage of the Six Paths, not Hamura, though their chakra is very likely similar.
It does, because Hamura has TSB, and those are made from Six Path chakra + 5 nature elements.
That technicality aside, Hamura's chakra is certainly strong and it was indeed given to Hinata, but we haven't necessarily seen it amplify her abilities.
We have seen it amplify her powers, it was done so when she was trying to destroy the Tenseigan weapon.
While I agree it would, it's difficult to say just how much it gave her, particularly since we haven't seen anything out of Hamura himself.
Considering Hamura is Hagoromo's equal, and has the Tenseigan, which rival's the Rennigan in power, I'd say it would grant a boost of power perhaps around a Kyuubi cloak in terms of speed and power boosts.
Let's assume all of Hinata's powers are buffed, and she's given a strength/speed increase, and like you pointed out with the gifs she's now able to fly. I still think Sakura wins mid-diff, especially with Katsuyu around.
I also believe Sakura could beat Hinata w/ Katsuyu.
I'd argue Sakura's taijutsu ability is superior to Hinata's
Not really, as Gentle Fist has been called Konoha's strongest fighting style. Not only that, Hinata has a higher score in taijutsu than Sakura, albeit by a mere 0.5.
Also, Hinata has shown that she has incredible arm speed, ones that surpass Sakura’s. She is capable of executing the 64 palms, a maneuver said and shown to be unavoidable as soon as the first hit lands.
This technique can only be done by those that have crazy fast hand speeds, as it requires fast and precise jabs as well as fluid footwork and handwork in order to keep the attack going.
Another example of Hinata’s fast arm speeds is in regards to the Air Palm . Air Palm is a technique that creates compressed air pressure merely through the sheer speed at which the user’s arm travels. It is then made into a ranged attack through shooting out chakra from the hands.
and though Twin Lion Fists could drain Sakura's chakra and leave her without her chakra-enhanced strength, Sakura's taijutsu style is based entirely around the evasion of attacks. She was trained by Tsunade, one of the greatest (if not the greatest) medical-nin shown in the series, and the role of the medical-nin is to avoid attacks and keep as much chakra available as they can for healing purposes. For that reason, I could see Sakura evading most of Hinata's attacks and ultimately landing a chakra-enhanced hit on her.
Once the hit is made, Sakura's strength kicks in and she takes it.
Sakura would not be able to dodge Hinata's attacks, as she can strike 32 times in a splt second, far more than anything Sakura could react to. Especially when you consider how Hinata was able to fnid an opening and land a hit on Neji even in part one despite how many times superior he was to her. Then when you consider how she's improved over the years, how her Twin Lion fists can extend her range [allowing for better distance] and how she has Rikudo chakra which would increase her already super-fast arm speeds, it's extremely unlikely Sakura will be dodging Hinata's attacks .
Sakura has failed to evade the following
1. Couldn’t dodge Omoi’s fodder kick
2. Couldn’t dodge A single wooden spike (while Hinata did) and needed saving from Kakashi
3. Couldn’t dodge Sasuke’s chidori and needed saving from Kakashi
4. Couldn’t dodge Kabuto’s butt, which knocked her out cold
5. Couldn’t dodge a flying rock
Her only good evasive feats are against Sasori’s puppets, and even then, that is undermined by the fact that Sakura essentially had prep time to analyze Sasori’s attack pattern while chiyo controlled her and kept her safe from harm. Otherwise, she would have died instantly.
In other words, if Sakura has no prep time to analyze the opponents attack pattern, then she won’t be able to avoid them easily.
In fact, Sakura was only able to avoid certain death 13 times due to chiyo saving her ass with her puppetry skills from sasori’s attacks and her having prep time to make 3 antidotes, of which 2 were used on her.
3 times in 265
4 times in 267
1 time in 268
2 times in 269
1 time in 270
1 time in 271
1 time in 273
2 times in 274
Thats a total of 15 fails of Sakura avoiding Sasori’s attacks, adding the fails from the list above, and we’ve got 20 moments where Sakura has failed to use her “super awesome” evasive skills.
So stop trying to make is seem like her evasive skills are something so great and amazing when they really aren’t anything impressive at all.
