[Xbox One] XB1 games

Has anyone else noticed quite a few of the new games coming out for the XB1 are styled after the older Nintendo/Sega era games?

Hyper Light Drifter
Gunsport
Rive
We are Doomed
Project Root(which looks just like the old arcade game where you flew a plane over enemy territory and attacked them)


There're a few more I can't remember, but what are your views on it, do you like it or not? I grew up with these style games so I like it but I know a lot of younger gamers dislike the aesthetics of 8 bit/16 bit,

Sony has more anime games of course being from Japan but I love my Xbox One. I think the Xbox One has a better collection of games for the average guy in America and not just "geeks" who like video games and anime

Yeah but im kinda getting bored with GT and we got no good racers this gen.

Yeah but the OP games all look like they were made for PS2 still soooo not a big deal.

That J-Stars game looks nice though, I still haven't ruled out getting a PS4 in a few months when they go down to around $300. I still wanna play one of the OP games, I wanna play Infamous and I really want a new Way of the Samurai which only came out for PS3 last time.
