But it seems it isn't enough for people to understand that Itachi obviously weakened his Tsukuyomi, and used it in a manner that would enable Sasuke to break out of it with his curse mark chakra.

Itachi planned everything. That includes Sasuke breaking out of Tsukuyomi.

Itachi using a full scale Tsukuyomi on Sasuke would have resulted in 1 week of lying in a coma for his ass, again.

Its a misconception. I also believed that sasuke legitly broke out of it. But the OP might be right.
