Obito's willpower vs Madara's willpower

When Obito became the Jin, Kaguya tried to take control but Obito overcame her. The plan was for Madara to become the Jin afterall.

When Madara became the Juubi Jin, she offered no resistance. Hell, she even commanded him to absorb the God Tree Obito expelled as well.
When BZ pierced him, Madara couldn't move (I believe he even said so himself) much like how Sasuke was paralyzed as well. When Obito was being controlled by BZ, he overpowered him and regained control of his body. Naruto was also able to overpower BZ.


Although it could also be said that Madara faced a different situation. What Kaguya did with Obito was try to take control of his body. You can also think of it like this:

What BZ might've done was reverse the roles. Madara was Kaguya's Jinchuuriki. When the chakra started going into his body he began to inflate then Kaguya emerged. It's as if Madara was shut inside Kaguya's body (Madara's Jinchuuriki).

Obito went through a similar situation in V1. He inflated and was about to lose himself though unlike Madara, the "Kaguya" trying to take control wasn't as powerful since she had nowhere near enough chakra she had by the time IT was cast. It could also be why BZ waited until IT was cast (So Kaguya could absorb chakra since when it comes to her power, more chakra=more power).


You can say it's an asspull but if there is an actual explaination then I would say it had to do with the Kaguya who overpowered Madara being far more powerful than the Kaguya who tried to control Obito. BZ waited for IT so Kaguya can regain more power.

Lets not forget that Obito stole bijuu chakra from madara too, practically by will alone as he was practically dead.

Juubi isn't able to think clearly, this was mentioned many times since it was revived by Obito. Kurama said it clearly, that's why the Juubi just shot his tailed beast bombs randomly untill Obito and Madara started to control it.

This whole Zetsu-Kaguya story doesn't make any sense and that's why I don't care about what Kurozetsu did and what not. You can't find a logical solution because there is no one in it. Just look at other facts like:
- Hagoromo sealing Kaguya together with Gedo Mazo into the moon as a young man (with help of Hamura) but Kurama said he had Gedo Mazo sealed inside himself when he created the Bijuu at the end of his lifetime
- Obito surviving nearly everything after loss of the Juubi
- Madaras inability to move when he was nearly as powerful as Hagoromo, but Obito could when he was without the Juubi and nearly dead
- Zetsu changing the text of the stone tablet while he couldn't even read it himself without a Rinnegan
- Obito coming back to life after he was pulverized
- Kakashi gaining DMS and awakening Susanoo

The databook entry of this sealing-jutsu is the best evidence we have to compare their willpower.

Did you know that the Gedo Mazo after Obito was beaten was far less active than it was before that? It was screaming when Obito used it to revive the juubi, but when Madara resummoned it it sat still doing absolutely nothing, not when the bijuu were sealed, not when Kakashi ripped off its arm.

This suggests that something was removed from it at some point, like, i dont know,

The lack of Kaguya in the Mazo/Juubi when Madara became jin would explain why the juubi didn't even stuggle, if it had no mind at all.

Yeah, but Black Zetsu infected him from within and not just the exterior.

His control was probably amplified by Kaguya's essence since Madara was a Juubi Jinchuriki and also absorbed the holy tree

That's what I meant. He wasn't stabbed when he was being controlled. That hole in his body healed when he became Jinchuriki.
