So, we all know how BZ "manipulated" the contents of the Uchiha tablet, to obviously lead at least one of them on the heinous path of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. As was shown here:

However, in chapter 656, Madara literally told us what was on the tablet. "Two opposing forces work together to form all things in the universe".

Now for the main crux of the thread: BZ said he "changed" the contents of the tablet to manipulate the Uchiha, and even called Hagaromo's original text "garbage". But if he did that, why would he leave such a comment, with such an obvious interpretation, which is that cooperation leads to true peace? Even Madara himself said that was one of the interpretations, but he came up with an "alternative interpretation" to justify his plans. Now, Madara was a power hungry war lord, so it makes sense that he would do that, but why would BZ leave such a comment on the tablet, when his goal was the sway the Uchiha away from peace? BZ manipulate madara with a false sense of peace. He just called ninshu garbage.

For people like Madara to interpret it the way he did.

Black Zetsu tried to get previous transmigrants of Indra to awaken the Rinnegan. And to get the Rinnegan you need to combine Ashura and Indra's chakra, two opposing forces "working" together.

Because BZ knew Uchihas were the one with the most love. They would seek peace by any means necessary.

How do you forge a passage without someone who is very intelligent realize it was a forge? You alter it in a way to imply an interpretation that pleases an extremist, while still keeping the narrative of the original author.

BZ probably just added the information about the Infinite Tsukuyomi and what happened with Ninshuu. Since Ninshuu was seen as a failure in Madara's eyes, he interpreted Hagoromo's statement as being that both Yin/Yang powers together (power of Rinne allows one to awaken the Rinne Sharingan) in one person would be what achieves true happiness/bliss.

This basically just answered the question. I never thought of it that way actually.

He needed both ashura and indra's descendants to cooperate to awaken the rinnegan and revive his mother and start IT.

The plothole is the fact that BZ could change a text that he couldn't even read beforehand without a Rinnegan.
But yeah, this whole BZ/Kaguya/Hagoromo/Hamura/Ootsutsuki-thing never made any sense.

Kishi should've made Hagoromo an actual messiah instead of being Kaguya's son

Indra read the text without rinnegan.

I don't see why Hagoromo would allow only the Uchiha to read the tablet.

Then again, BZ viewed the Uchiha as tools. You have to progress the stages of the Sharingan to read more of the tablet while awakening the Rinnegan allows you to read everything in it. BZ is the one who need an Uchiha to awaken the Rinnegan.

I believe it's possible BZ made that tablet unreadable in the first place.

Perhaps the tablet Indra read was the original and BZ got the idea of tampering with it to use his ancestors.

Maybe, it's plausible.
