The same as Akainu

Garp distorted Chinjao'shead and Luffy distorted it again, i think we can evaluate the power level of Garp from that, and know that Shanks is above him

You think Luffy's current level is comparable to Garp in his prime?

I don't think Garp vs chingao happened when garp was in his prime, because garp told that he had trained hard to fight chinjao. By that logic we can be sure that Garp vs chingao was before garp reached his prime. Just like the stage luffy is in right now. But I think garp was a lot stronger when that fight happened than luffy is now, because luffy had to use gear 3 to do what garp did with his normal hands.

What do u mean? Admirals are in their 50's, they are and still kicking asses in NW and you think Shanks getting past his prime? not sure if serious. For all we know he's the youngest top tier in OP(Hope I didn't forgot anyone). Mihawk,Admirals, Kaido(Most likely), BM, Dragon,BB and even Joker is older than Shanks.

I think luffy, zoro and sanji are on their way to set the record for the youngest top tier. xD

For all we know, all that hard training put Garp in his prime. The logic that Garp trained extremely hard to get that level meaning that it isn't his prime makes no sense because no matter what his prime level was, he would have to undergo extremely hard training to get to that level.

Even if it was just his normal hands, that still insinuates that Luffy's current level could compare to Garp in his prime, which is just untrue. He also failed to consider that Chinjao has an illness and is out of his prime.

Well we can only guess. But I don't think that fight was Garp in his prime. Garp in his prime would be when he captured roger (although roger wanted to be caught, I don't think he would have gone down without a fight)

IMO same goes for other supernovas. At the very least Kid and Law.

Nah, It happened 30 years ago, assuming that Garp is more or less as old as WB. He was in his late 30's or early 40's back then so it was his prime. You missinterpreted Garp's statement he was saying that he trained to crush his head not to fight him. If only thing Garp wanted to was to defeat him then he would have done it easily even without training but what Garp wanted to humiliate him by destroying his signature move. Chinjao's head butt was a top tier material but Chinjo was't a top tier I mean look at Sai for example. His skills are nothing when compared to people of M3 level yet his kick's power and DC are comparable to that of Chinjao's head butt.

Given how easily Garp managed to destroy Chinjao's most powerful move, he would have defeated him pretty easily in an actual battle.

Not really Law is already 26, Kid is 23.

While all the monster trio are 21 or less.

Gap isn't really that big.

What if the one who Shanks' blocked was a "prime Garp" instead of Akainu?
What you think would've happened?

a. Shanks now has a broken sword.
b. The same as Akainu.
c. Broken fist.

none. because the only way they could hurt each is when they gpt distracted like what happen to the war of the greats
