We can all agree Preta absorbs chakra ( physical energy/ spiritual energy)
Totsuka/Yata ( spirit weapons) . They most definitly don't have the physical property which makes them not chakra. And it is never stated where the spiritual aspect of the weapons comes from. In chakra it comes from the mind.

It was never said it was made of the same spirit energy that forms jutsu so its speculation the fact that it is not chakra is enough for totsuka to not be absorbed. Spirit energy used in chakra comes from mental energy while totsuka and data are ethereal/spirit weapons
