Its unique but Odangave it too a child. It still doesn't rival Kuma or Laws DF ...those are the most unique DFs in the series. I would say Luffys DF too if he wasn't the main character an I just saw him

Those examples have nothing to do with it.

The only rule of a DF is that it's weakness is water, the rest is up for imagination. How stupid would it be if Oda would break his one and only rule that he made himself. He already gave us fishman to meet in the middle, there will never be a water fruit.

The DF weakness is that the user can't swim, not water. If that was the case, no DF would have any effect on water, and all DF users would lose their powers in the rain. A DF that can control water wouldn't break the rule.

His point still stands though, its unique. The user of the DF and how strong he or she is, is completely irrelevant. We won't see someone with a unique/OP DF AND who's strong for quite some time. Greenbull, the yonko's and their first mates are probably the ones who will show that.

Shrimp can live on land if properly hydratred... Like luffy when fighting crocodile plus its a great way to limit insane power cause it cant stay on land long so you could only access its insane power for a few minutes

Dude, no. Do you not know what a Mantis Shrimp can do? Transform your arm into its club arm, and you could seriously **** someone up. Transform your arm into their claw arms, and you could mutilate, slice and spear the **** out of something. Combine that with the potential power/Haki of someone like Kaido, and you have an OP DF.

I know what the Mantis Shrimp is. There isn't a possibility for a Water DF (hence why we have Fishman Karate), and no possibility for aquatic Zoans (so instead we have Fishmen and Merfolk).

Besides the Pistol Shrimp > Mantis Shrimp anyway

Just face it, we haven't seen an aquatic zoan yet, and we've seen at least 29 zoans, they won't be added into the Manga

There are many useless DFs. Corazon's, Luffy's, Bellamy's, all of those are DFs that would be useless but in the right hands are very good. Someone who has the sense to partially transform and not fully transform could use the DF to their advantage.

Also, Axolotl and anacondas can be aquatic creatures.

All DF's are useful, it depends on the users.

An Aquatic Zoan would suffocate if they aren't in water while transformed -> need water -> drown due to devil fruit weaknesses

There's a reason that not even one in 29 canon Zoans is aquatic... WATER. Must I remind you?

Fishmen look like partially transformed aquatic zoans, which is the closest you're going to get. Likewise Fishman Karate is the closest we'll get to a Water Logia.
