The Uchiha was the suspect of the nine tails attack because only their eyes can control the tailed beast, and cause that much fear
The Hyugas clan are a bunch of fodders who need to torture their own clan members to protect their doujutsu
Madara was the only one who did before because he needed it to fight Hashirama, why would the Uchiha suddenly rip the nine tails out of their Jin and attack for no reason?
Obito also did it because he needed the nine tails for his plans, any Sharingan user can do it when they need to

Madara needed the EMS to control Kurama.
Obito had MS enhanced by Hashirama cells and managed to send Kurama on a rampage.

The strongest Hyuuga members weren't even at Konoha when it got attacked by Pain. The only Hyuuga's were side people and Hinata.
Oh and no one else was fighting the Juubi because Naruto and the other kages told people to stay back.
Neji died because of pairing reasons, and this has been stated multiple times. If kishi didn't want to kill him for the sake of pairing he could have easily just used rotation on the stick. Remember he got hit by similar things in his fight with Kidomaru.

Itachi didn't specifically say you need MS to control the kyuubi, Sasuke is just making assumptions

obito only had one MS and he controlled it perfectly without going blind, that's because he didn't use his MS

Gai, Neji, Lee and Tenten showed up to the village while Naruto was outta the village fighting Pain. And Hiashi was out of town with Hanabi for a meeting else where.
As far as other Hyuuga's go I can't tell you "who else is strong" because there aren't many of them introduced aside from the ones you already know of.
Yeah I am. Kishi even said himself the only reason he killed Neji was to make him a cupid for Naruto and Hinata. If that wasn't the case he could have easily blocked it. Kaiten blocked a Juubi tail which far exceeds sticks, so why wouldn't he be able to block that?
Doesn't matter because the techniques they use are taught in the Main branch. They don't have any special moves of their own, so if the main branch couldn't do anything, I don't see how they would.
It happened, therefore, no matter what excuse you come up with, the Juubi spikes>Kaiten and Juubi tails. At least at the force they were going at that time.

The techs being taught only to main family is irrelevant since Neji, a branch member was able to learn them for himself. Their special moves are Jyuken, but that isn't very effective against Pain because he's using dead bodies and are moving because chakra is being transmitted from Nagato. And you're probably right. The Hyuuga can't really do much against Pain specifically, but no one else aside from Naruto could either.
Doesn't look like an excuse. I'm telling you fact and what's been stated. And yeah it did happen, but you're just lying to yourself if you really think the Juubi spikes are stronger than the tails itself (tails which flicked tailed beast bombs away).
Either way my argument at the end of the day is that they aren't overrated. They're pretty underrated if you ask me and the reason why it's being talked so much is because of the recent movie. And that's not even about the Hyuuga more or less just Hinata in general.
