The techs being taught only to main family is irrelevant since Neji, a branch member was able to learn them for himself. Their special moves are Jyuken, but that isn't very effective against Pain because he's using dead bodies and are moving because chakra is being transmitted from Nagato. And you're probably right. The Hyuuga can't really do much against Pain specifically, but no one else aside from Naruto could either.

Doesn't look like an excuse. I'm telling you fact and what's been stated. And yeah it did happen, but you're just lying to yourself if you really think the Juubi spikes are stronger than the tails itself (tails which flicked tailed beast bombs away).

Either way my argument at the end of the day is that they aren't overrated. They're pretty underrated if you ask me and the reason why it's being talked so much is because of the recent movie. And that's not even about the Hyuuga more or less just Hinata in general.
