Realistically, I would end up buying a Chevrolet Camaro.

Dreamily, Bugatti Veyron.

Tbh, I don't give a shit about those fancy, rich cars. Sure they are nice cars but I don't want people staring at my car 24/7 and doing something to it when I leave it alone for only a few minutes in the car park. I'd take the average-day car any day. Cops don't pick on you and you don't have to worry about those unattractive, low-class gold diggers walking up to you just because you have a certain car. Lol

Not necessarily true, actually, to a good extent not true at all.

Having a fancy car is a showcase of hard work and a hobby that you enjoy. It costs tens of thousands to get a car's HP past 700. That's responsibility of saving money and putting time into something you care about.

Plus, if you drive around with like a Lamborghini Gallardo or a Ferrari 458 Spider or a Nissan GTR chances are you won't be picked on or watched by cops. In my sense, you have the money for the car you have the money for the insurance, you have the responsibility to buy that car you have the responsibility to not do anything stupid in the eyes of the law.

I never said it wasn't a symbol of hard work. All I'm saying is that there are money-hungry *****es out there who would suddenly fall in "love" with someone just because they have a nice-looking car. There are only a few of them, though, and not all people who approach these drivers are like that.

It's an obvious fact that police tends to pick on people driving these wealthy cars. Speed attracts attention, whether it be a random member of the public or a member of the police community.

I have to agree with... elitenoob concering the bolded. I've never attracted the attention of the police, but hey, maybe it's an American thing?

But I do agree with you about the women part but still... intentions are discernible.

I agree with gold diggers, but those are typical women on the street dressing all sleazy. Women at the bar and clubs etc. Obviously you can go onto Youtube and look at gold digger pranks and just see how many terrible women are out there.

I still disagree though, with attracting more cops. If you think about it when do you ever see a Lamborghini driving around in your state? Even if it's Hollywood... You won't see it everyday I assure you. Cops will have the reactions just like the gold diggers, "Oh my, a Lamborghini... You don't see those everyday".

Also, if you're the racing type or speeding type of guy you don't do that on the streets... You do that on the freeway. I would hate to drive a Bugatti Veyron on the streets at 60mph and wreck it.

I have to say DoubleKamui is right about the attention. People tend to give me more attention when I drive my corvette than I do in my truck. At gas stations or convenient stores, it's a conversational starter. Women (not necessarily gold diggers) and sometimes men (mostly gearheads) would stop and talk to me about my car. Some women say yes, to me asking them out. I hate to say it but, sometimes a person is judged on the car they drive. With me, a corvette means financial security to some women, and the Z06 badge means boy racer to the gearhead guys.

As far as the cops. Yes it grabs their attention too. But don't drive like a prick and they'll leave well enough alone. I've gotten the thumbs up from cops before. I used to own 600hp Trans Am. Chambered mufflers, straight pipes and a lopey cam. The exhaust note alone would draw attention and the cops never gave me any grief for it because I didn't drive like an prick. I get my speed thrills on the track or the strip and that's were I leave it.

Like I said, to an extent. It's illegal for the law to follow you and harass you even if you're not doing anything.

It's not about the car. Yeah, having a nice car shows what you've worked for but in all sense it's who's behind the wheel. I drive a 1997 Toyota Corolla and I can still start a very decent conversation with numerous people, even women.

It's easy to start a conversation. But I don't start the conversation with people. People initiate a conversation with me when I'm out in my corvette. I don't get the same attention with my silverado. So yes it is about the car and the prestige that comes with it. And yes people do have preconceptions of someone by the car they drive. It's the same situation with people getting judged by the brand of clothing they wear. Jewelry, hairstyle, etc. It's all trivial but i happens.
