During this episode, it was around the time of Sasuke vs Orochimaru, so Orochimaru was recalling what started his obsession with the Uchiha clan. Ironically, a ten yr old Itachi did when he continued to train in the Academy basement and Orochimaru happened to see him once. (Even after graduating from the Academy at age 7 whilst being at the top of his class... Itachi received permission to train there.)

-Personally, I would not. I think he ended off on a great note. He and Kabuto (imo) were the only long-term characters that were well-written all the way through so much that criticism is not really warranted with how Kishimoto set them up.
As of now and with how the Naruto series manga ended, I think Itachi is overall Kishimoto's best work. For the amount of screen time he got, he had great relevance, nice development, an impressive back story, and decent tie-ins with both manga and mythology related material. I'm really impressed. I would hate to see that ruined in any way. I don't want SS family having flashbacks or his tragic story to ever be revealed to anyone else, not even Sakura or Salad. It would take away from his character and what's good is good- it should be left alone.
The only upcoming material I know he'll be in is an Akatsuki back story novel written by Blood Prison's script writer. That was a good movie, so I'm sure this will be fine. And it's obviously set when Akatsuki was around, so during the Naruto series' manga story line. I'll read it as soon as it's translated.
tl;dr- To me, I'd only be willing to see something Itachi related if it's set during a time when he was alive. Not in the future like in Boruto's new mini-manga. I'm not expecting anything, the only reason this question was brought up is because it's a possibility he'll be brought up in part 3 in some way (I hope not) due to having the largest Japanese fandom after Naruto/Sasuke/Kakashi. Popularity talks with Kishimoto and his editors.

I'm not that into romance myself, but I cannot criticize or praise something unless I see it all the way through. It hasn't been announced in my city yet, but if it is and I have the time- I might see it.
I'm not going to go there anymore. I think I'm sticking to FCs and the Art Hall if I continue coming to this site after this month.
No, not really. For me the goodbye scene was the perfect farewell and the perfect scenario to end Itachi's story (I got really emotional with that). I surely hope he doesn't make any sort of appearance in the upcoming Boruto's mini-series unless Sasuke dreams about it or has any flashback about it. I don't ask for it but I wouldn't mind if Sasuke tried to tell Sakura the truth about his brother as long as it's kept in between them and not turn into some sort of tribute to the village or some honour ceremony.
No cause in my country Japonese movies be it live-action or animated don't get into the cinema and since Pirate-bay was closed, unless someone sends me a torrent for it, I will not be seeing it and personally i'm not very interested.
Well, yeah, I like to wander around every section even if just to take a peek and since till i finish my master project I got more time and Lawliet gave me this premium, I'll continue coming here

Considering he's my favorite anime character of all time, I wouldn't mind some spinoffs here and there, as long as they're well written. I definitely don't want to see his character turn sour, so I wouldn't want to see them do anything major in the New Era like revive him or something >.>

I haven't checked if it's been announced for my city yet, but if it is, I'll probably go see it with a few friends. Even if it's romance-centered, there's still going to be the fight with Toneri, etc, so I'd definitely want to see that.
Additionally, I rarely discuss "shipping" or whatever since it seems to only lead to arguments and harsh feelings, but man I was rooting for NaruHina since Part I, so this is my reward ;p

I've given up on the NDS. Trolls have taken over, that's not even debatable anymore. All I do now is skim over the "Today's Topics" list and post if something captures my attention. I go to the VS section every now and then (and it seems the trolls go there now, too), but most of the high-tier matchups these days don't really interest me much.
I'm sticking around to see what happens when NB completely merges with MangaBase this Spring, but idk after that. Might be time to jump ship -_-

Yes I would. As long as their well written, which judging from the interviews means, that Kishi's editors play a bigger role in writing it than him, it should be fine. Not too much, but some references here and there in the next little miniseries and some future filler episodes or movies would be appreciated. SP did a pretty bang up job with the last itachi fillers so I feel they could do it again. I do agree though, it would be better for them to focus on Itachi's history and past for future productions than do something completely new.
I definitely would if it were to show in my state. I doubt it will though. I've been an NH fan and SS fan from the beginning so the pairings don't bother me. The movie does have it's fair share of turn offs for me, but I'd still rather watch it than not. At least at the moment.
Less and less but I still visit it more than any other section. I've at least mastered resisting the urge to post in most threads like I used to. Of course most threads are basically the same these days....so it's really not even that difficult. :|

This is probably the best of what I have at the moment. It's interesting to me that Itachi's Susanoo is actually supposed to be more of a yellow-orange color. Anyway, this is...Itachi stuff. gifs coming soon. lol.

Like I said, I'm not good at attaching specific scenes to episodes. It's a curse that I wish I could remedy since there are some really good moments that I'd like to find but don't have the patience to look for it. lol

Forgot to answer these the other day.
-Honestly, I would not like it. I think his character was well-developed and served his purpose within the manga. To bring him back again would potentially ruin the high note his character went out on. I would only really accept a return if it was in passing. That is to say, Sasuke or Naruto reminisce about Itachi to Sarada or something like that.
Well, considering I live in the States there is no way I'd get to see it in theaters. I'll only ever get to see it once it comes out subbed/dubbed in a year or so. But, if I lived in Japan, I definitely would have seen it in theaters. That exclusive data book is calling my name.
I haven't been there recently. I'm not sure if I'll ever go back in there. It'll likely depend on if a topic catches my eye.
