Izanami would be pointless since Obito never wanted to be someone else. He just pretended to be Madara Uchiha, so it wouldn't work.

Tsukuyomi won't be effective, but Izanami works on every version of Obito up until after Naruto's tnj.

Prep time is required to record the loop. Obito would immediately realize that Itachi is attempting Izanami and would quickly be on guard

This is true too, I just love the image when people say totsuka blitz and it's this massively long thing coming at you how fast can it really be going? That's like being able to hold a skyscraper in your hands and running at someone yelling SKYSCRAPER BLITZ!!!!!!!!! Anybody would have time to get away. It's so long you'd have to be far far far away before you could build up enough speed.
