Good arguments, but I fail to see how the toads will be countered. Bunta and Jiraiya's SM enhanced Katon+ Oil combo would end this.

Nah Domu should still prevail it couldn't even burn through snake skin quickly ( Manda was able to shed it before hand) It shouldnt do much to diamond skin, not to mention Kakuzu's combo is also some pretty heavy shit

Not at all.

Yes, Gian will penetrate Bunta, but I don't see why Jiraiya can't just make clones to counter the masks.

I agree on this though, I guess Kakuzu with Hidan could be a terrible match-up for Jiraiya. Still think Jiraiya wins though, I'm sure he will counter Domu in some way, I just don't know/care much of/for his abilities.

lol, Kakuzu is not escaping Gama Rinsho. All he has to do is hear it and he's trapped. And he has no knowledge of Gama Rinsho, either, so he's going to have no reason to do either of the two things you listed. He might think the toads are going to use some kind of an attack when they start trying to synch, but what's going to make him react any differently than how the 3 Paths reacted, which was by trying to take on Jiraiya head to head.

And even using some where argument where he flys in to the sky upon hearing their synching, he's gonna have to go up pretty damn high before he gets to the point where he can't hear it.

The "Toad Confrontation Chant" only has to reach the target's sense of hearing to be a success

It's scale/loudness is so great it can entrap hundreds of enemies.

Even if there are several hundred targets, they are completely disconnected from each other!!

The latter masks get incinerated by a giant, oil-enhanced katon, or crushed by food cart destroyer if they try to break out. That leaves Kakuzu alone with only one heart, who gets shat on in a real 1v1.

Don't see it happening either way, Kisame's just too powerful for Jiraiya. And my bad, Gengetsu Hozuki is indeed the Trollkage. And 3rd wins by simply blitzing through any jutsu (Katon, summon, Goemon) Jiraiya uses and then stabbing him. Jiraiya is not running from the 3rd Raikage, and he's definitely not damaging him with any jutsu bar Genjutsu (which he won't have enough time to prep, and can be blown away with shockwaves similarly to how Temari blew away Tayuya's genjutsu).

He is, but all of Kisames advantages are neutralized in front of SM Jiraiya and his toad summons. Plus, Kisame would need to be extremely cautious with how much Senjutsu he allows Samehada to absorb. I just don't see it playing well at the end for Kisame. High-diff win though.

How does 3rd Raikage counter Frog Song once he gets within medium range of SM Jiraiya though? That should be enough to paralyze him. The paralysis should force the Raikage to drop his raiton shroud, lowering his defenses, in a similar fashion as Kabutos White Rage did to Itachi and Sasuke. From there,

will wrap around the Raikage and begin to dissolve him with acidic slime that ignores durability. If this doesn't kill the 3rd, it should hinder him significantly. Still don't see how he wins against someone with the versatility and firepower that SM Jiraiya possesses.

Enhanced speed and reactions means he can evade his attacks easier. So it does help.

Rasengan doesn't do solely internal damage, so don't say that Kakuzu is made of pure thread. Rasengan explodes, and if he gets hit with a Rasengan three times the size of his body, he's going to have a mangled body..unless Domu is active of course.

Uh, Atsugai doesn't change the air pressure of the air. The wind used for the jutsu is what has high air pressure, so the Sound Waves can still travel through the air. Frog Song's chant lasts for a few seconds, Atsugai's blast doesn't.

So I'm not exactly sure if by "one drags" it means Jiraiya would have to drag the opponent in to it(or have the opponent rush in to it, ala Animal Path), or if it means the toad grabs the enemy and drags him/her in to it. I'm leaning towards the former, myself.

What's interesting to me is Fukasaku implies(as does Jiraiya) that the enemy cannot attack the toad gourd/that Jiraiya is safe so long as he stays in the gourd. Not sure if this means by getting close to or touching the gourd, you're sucked in.

It's questionable as to how toad mouth bind works out in the open, honestly. The databook claims this can trick opponents if they're inside of a building or a cave, but makes no mention of open space.

Second the frog chant doesn't automatically put the opponent into the genjutsu it takes a bit of time, Kakuzu can easily use the jutsu twice negating the build up time anyways

Third Yes but air-pressure side effects is relative loss of hearing for a bit, which is common knowledge even in sudden spikes the people within can't regain hearing for a few seconds after whether this is due to a problem with the pressure affecting the ears or the sound waves Im not sure but either way the effects last a little longer then the spike itself

Well, I was thinking that the technique could work similar to how Jiraiya used it against Pain. He used one of his shadow clones reverse summon the cerebrus into the eso****us of a toad.

Lol.......so Kakuzu is going to tank a Chou Oodama Rasengan with what? His body? He needs Domu. Yura was killed in one shot of an Oodama Rasengan, and that's from KN0 Naruto. SM Jiraiya's Chou Oodama Rasengan>>>that. Senjutsu and the fact it's much larger. If Preta Path had taken that directly, what do you think would have happened? He would have been obliterated. A Small Senpo Rasengan carved a hole in Juubito's back.

Can't show you for obvious reasons, as it hasn't happened yet. It's just common sense. If a Rasengan 3x the size of your body hits you, you are obviously going to have a damaged body...unless you think it's all internal...which it isn't. Mangled probably isn't the right word though.

1. Didn't happen in the manga, to ninja, when they fought Kakuzu. Why would the same happen here? Pretty sure I already told you this.

2. That's if the air pressure increases, Atsugai doesn't raise air pressure, the wind of the jutsu is at an extremely high pressure. Big difference.
