We. . . ? :erm:The manga ended recently in November of 2014. That's more than 4 years and 250 chapters of the War arc and what do we have to show for it?
That's true. . . one more "aggressive" member will make a thread or two on some specific happening of the Manga and a s**t load of others will follow it without having their own actual opinion on the matter. If anything I have learned that forums ruin the experience the way people discuss it most of the times. Fanboys, hater and theory makers who always like to maintain their fiction and prediction was the logical lead, the writer failed to follow.
It had a direction since day 1. Who gets to catch Naruto. Obito failed, Madara caught but couldn't keep, making HInata the winner in the end.No, what I don't like is overlong, bloated storylines with no direction.
I.e.? Oh you meant the war not starting right away made it direction less... >_> really?I.e. the War being declared in chapter 467
Starting in chapter 515
Personally I loved him getting killed by Zetsu. It was so ironic and so fitting for his arrogance- his most prominent weakness ( the other one being a person behind his back).Madara showing up in chapter 560 and preceding to kick the teeth in of the Shinobi Alliance non-stop till chapter 679 when he is negged by Black Zetsu.
Yeah that was forced. A story line added but then dropped without developing further. The Kaguya arc lasting from 679-689; filler in the manga really.
lol It did feel a little rushed after some other fights extending too long though I liked last 6 by themselves. If only some previous fights were also abridged like that. But obviously they couldn't plan the whole war before hand and they didn't take a long enough break in between which might have helped otherwise even if we had to wait for a few months for the next chapter. And then the mad dash to wrap up everything in 11 chapters.
Tell me about it lol.We. . . ? :erm:

Kishi created 3 juubi Jin. Obito, Maddy and Kaguya &vthen defeated them using asspulls. When Obito was TnJed. Not the actual part though; I actually like the fact that he (Obito) turned good. It's just the repetitive, useless flashbacks about Rin during his TnJ and the events leading after it (Madara's plot-enhanced fight, Kaguya's shitty role as a villain, etc...) that left me questioning if Kishi was really a pot-head. Jokes aside, it wasn't all that bad. There were some ups here and there but most of it was just disappointment.
He should have continued with BZ alone. XD But the movie makers wanted the romance and to take the pair to the moon or something so we got a randm moon goddess instead of the tree spirit alone.Kishi created 3 juubi Jin. Obito, Maddy and Kaguya &vthen defeated them using asspulls.
Freindship BS, BZ asspull and the whole Kaguya arc was just ....
He should have continued with madara tbh
People were spamming dat BZ is Aizen of NV when he stabbed maddyHe should have continued with BZ alone XD
Yeah agreedBut the movie makers wanted the romance and to take the pair to the moon or something so we got a randm moon goddess instead of the tree spirit alone.
LOl but if you think back BZ was always lurking and was almost everywhere. But despite all his abilities it was never cleared what was for him in it.People were spamming dat BZ is Aizen of NV when he stabbed maddy
Yeah agreed
also the movie thing spoiled the whole fun of Sasuke and Naruto's battle tbh.We knew Sasuke will not be dying as some horrible fanfictions of few members predicted -_-
The only downfall for me was the kaguya arc but it got much better once it ended. I really loved the ending of naruto and kishi passed my expectations.Do you remember what chapter Naruto achieved his goal, by having the entire village accept him? It was chapter 450, right when the Pein Arc concluded. Where Naruto stepped up to the plate and did what his sensei (Kakashi), master (Jiraiya) and the current Hokage (Tsunade) couldn't do. Defend the Leaf, protect the citizens, beat the bad guy and make a promise to bring peace to future generations. Naruto's character arc was nearly fulfilled (excluding working things out with Kurama) in Chapter 450 from May 2010.

Fodder. Absolute Fodder. The War arc dragged on and on with no real direction. It could've been wrapped up in a fraction of the time and Kishi could've continued with more interesting storylines and further developing his characters that he neglected; which are in the double digits.
EDIT TO ADD
Kishi was set to crank this thing out in 700 and he had 250 chapters with an average of 18 pages per chapter to do it. What would you rather have seen happen?
Yeah I know.No one expected BZ to betray maddy.LOl but if you think back BZ was always lurking and was almost everywhere. But despite all his abilities it was never cleared what was for him in it.
Agreed there r many awesome moments in manga in the war arc itself.i enjoyedWhat I liked after the declaration of the War and early war:
-Itachi's interaction with Naruto and the mystry of the crow being solved. ( partly because my own little prediction that either Naruto won't meet Itachi during war or whatever power Itachi gave Naruto to deal with Sasuke would activate against himself but nah it was fun)
-Concept of Izanami loop.
-Hanzou's little redemption
-Danzou's end
-The Gara VS second mizukage fight ( that kage was fun)
-Mu was ok too
-Kurama's reluctance in accepting that he was helping Naruto and had stopped stealing his chakra when Hachibi point it out. The interaction there was fun.
-Tobi's hell- lol I know all the mocking with "you let rin die" comment but As Obito too said - it wasn't only about that. That scene with Tobi in inches deep pool of blood sums it up.
And so on- the small bits like that. I can add more but it will take time.
The over all spacing is the main problem - since some chapters got too stretched and then rushed later on.
