In fact I think it would ruin the character of Gin. The reason why Gin is so great is because he has no actual goal. He just wants to cause pain to others, like when he broke Rukia's will just after she had come to grips with her fate of being executed. He purely gets enjoyment from hurting others, hes sadistic.

Aizen on the other hand has actual ambitions. He has a plan, and is executing it perfectly. He too is perfect as he is, and if he isn't the master of the plan, his character will take a huge drop in my mind. His cocky, arrogant, sophisticated, intelligent and cold demeanor is what makes him so great.

Plus, if you remember the Turn Back the Pendulum arc, it was Aizen who found Gin. Not the other way around.

actually i get a different impression i get the impression he only wants to listen to aizen kinda like tousen but in a different way

when he broke rukia maybe thats what aizen wanted for some reason =/

As I have said before, Gin very sadistic, but I think he'll betray Aizen in the end, one way or another. Like defending him until the end, until he got the key, and then killing him and taking it. And if Aizen was about to lose... leave him to die and run away. That's just my humble opinion.

Eh no, it doesn't make even sense at all.

Aizen was already planning all his deeds when Gin was just a kid. Also we haven't seen more of Aizen's skill than Gin. Gin is a strong captain, but he wouldn't last very long when he would have to fight multiple captains at the same time.

I clearly am, but you certainly don't. I mean you say Gin's shikai hasn't been shown yet -which has been multiple times- and your only argument is because he doesn't fight, thus he must be the mastermind behind it all -_-

lol i was joking about urahara being the mastermind.

- aizen is the main antagonist atm

and the only way i can see him being "used" by someone is that something from "hell" is involved in some way.

-This is because:

a.) The majority of Shinigamis are clearly opposed to him
b.) If the arrancar hed created were vasto lorde before they were affected by hogyoku then they woulnt all be dead at this point.
c.) If he stil has some vasto lorde-turned arrancar in backup then why the hell hasnt he used them (plus why would they submit to him ?)

d.) because hell is the only mentioned realm about which we all know next to nothing, and its an easy connection to establish - and then once it becomes apparent aizen = "hell's side" then more fighting ensues, new opponents with new techniques

i did make a mistake in saying that gin has never shown his shekie and as for fighting that wasnt a fight he just flung his sword at somebody and killed her and as for kiske not fighting thats because he issort of the leader of the goodguys right now which is the basis for my argument that the final fight will be gin and kiske and as for favorate charichter mine is the late ulquora shifer

In that way Hiyori will finally die, and with a tad of luck, Unohona might die to him as well, but no, I don't see him as a mastermind.

Unohana would squash Gin like an insect. Don't underestimate her because shes just a healer, she has the respect (and fear) of captains such as Shunsui and Ukitake. She also has higher stats in the stat book than them.

Not to mention Gin might've not showed his full power to the captains yet in soul society either, just as Aizen did.
Besides he probably has hollow powers now.
Killing off Unohona would be perfect, more dramatic effect ( or hard laughs in my case ) and Hiyori will die

I'm telling you, don't underestimate her. Shes going to be the next Captain-Commander after Yama-jii dies next chapter.
