ah, sorry, should've quoted/highlighted what i was referring to.

i interpreted it as igneel stating the 2 reasons they hid inside the dragon slayers and after stating the latter reason, (to give the DS'ers the force/Power for defeating Acnologia), he proceeds to rip off acnologia's arm. implying that it plays a role in their power up.

Ah!I see. It is more like Igneel proceeds to land a final blow on Acnologia but only harmed a hand XD.How an arm can play an important role in their Powerups ? Are you by any chance referring to that Dragon Slayers may bath in the blood in of Acnologia's hand? and will get powerful.>>>Bathe in the blood ?<<<

yea i was. seeing as how the legend goes kill DS kill dragons, bathe in their blood, become dragon. igneel negged my theory when he stated this chapter that he created anti-bodies tho. so his death will be natsu's power-up instead.
