Does it say what version of Madara? If it just says Madara, then we are to assume that its the Madara prior to obtaining the Jubi, just like when someone says Obito, we are to assume the regular Obito, not the Jubi Jinchuriki version. KCM Naruto from The Last is > Pre-Jinchuriki Rinnegan Madara. That does not mean he is as strong as Jinchuriki Madara.
