The only different thing was the anger issue. Naruto didn't get hurt by the damn seal when he was like 9-10 I would have been the same tbh. Also naruro didn't do anything on his own. He took all shortcuts. Neji suffered more than naruto.

Compare how part I people talk to Neji compared to Naruto. It's very different.

Neji was revered as a genius amongst his peers. He had other branch members (like his mother perhaps). Tenten, Lee, and Gai all cared and respected him.

Sure Naruto's seal didn't hurt him... but instead it caused him to be hated and neglected without being told why. At least Neji knew the circumstances around his father's death and was explained why he got his mark.

Naruto did quite a lot on his own. His entire character up until meeting Jiraiya is basically the results of his own work, except maybe tree climbing. With just his own talent he managed to push out Neji's trump cards.

The failure loser Naruto got all of Neji's best moves from his own hard work. Though without Kurama he would have lost...the fact is he managed to decently push Neji who was reversed as a genius and prodigal son.

Not to mention the work he put into mastering the Rasenshuriken. And the effort into mastering Sage Mode.

He had to battle Kurama before he could get KCM. But ultimately got to befriend Kurama to get more of a benifit from it.

Naruto hardly took short cuts. He worked for what he got. He paid for things he got. For Kurama he lost his parents and wasn't allowed to know the slightest thing about them.


The only "free power up" I'd give him is Biju Mode and then the Hagoromo seal. But he still had to work a bit for Biju Mode because he had to befriend Kurama.



Now am I saying everything Neji has done is second rate? Hardly. He has one of the hardest childhoods. Certainly imo harder than Sasuke. He definitely worked hard.

But the anger he held was strong enough to make a difference. Naruto fought his injustice. Neji succombed to Destiny. The inspiration for Hinata was that rebellious nature.

He was given a reason for things around him. Doesn't make it any easier... but at least closure to why exists.Naruto was not.

Yeah, it's bad enough already that bolt and Himawari already look like carbon copies of their paretns, having the same voice would be even worse

It wasn't a mistranslation.

1)Passing through is basically the same as skipping.
2) TakL a japanese guy on Naruto forums who has the databook was the one that said that. I talk to him and he says that they are not his descendants.
3) That translation still have being "Hyuuga" and being a "Hamura descendant" as two separate things. Look at the what the last line says.

"↓ The Hyūga's Byakugan. The clan leader's Byakugan in particular has a high transplant compatibility with Hamura's descendants."

Them being related to Hagoromo was a theory not a translation. Because who else are they descendants of?

Well even after many generation passed, they go straight talking about Kaguya to Haruma:

``From Kaguya to Hamura, and so on. After passing through a great many generations, the Hyūga Clan became the sole inheritors of Kaguya's Byakugan.``

So I don`t understand how that makes automatically Hagoromo descendant, if anything it would be Kaguya when they have blood relative, that`s why they`re compatabile

Yes this is why I`m not looking forward to Bolt, he`s almost exactly like Naruto except that he`s more of pushover which I personally despise plus he has no byakugan. Almost everyone are cabon copies of their parents, and not one of them impressed me because they are nothing unique except Salada and Chocho.

Yes, I agree, those two actually looked like they had their parents genes, Inojin as well, meanwhile, Himawari is a younger Hinata with messy hair, Bolt is a younger Naruto with messy hair, Shikadai is Shikamaru with green eyes, Lee's son [?] looks like him also.

Kisimtot seems to have orgially planned on giving them byakugan, since he did say that he forgot about it, so I'm fine if he retcons it into having them able to use the Byakugan's ability without actually having white eys.

Well I guess It isnt bad. Himawari looks like Hinata and it would be great to hear her like how her mother did.

Not to mention Hinata had a mew voice by the end of the movie

And he got soloed by sticks... twice.

I don't believe Kishi wants Bolt to get soloed by some measly pieces of wood.
He already has his name in honor of Neji, what more do you want.

If Hinata would've never gotten with Naruto Neji wouldn't even get a child named after him.
Nothing but a death, or some pairing fodder.

The teamwork can beat a Hyuuga, but maybe a solo fight can help a Hyuuga. But this is debatable since no actual manga display has shown a scenario.
